Great place to eat! I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich and my husband got the cardiac arrest burger. The fries were amazing! The sandwich’s needed more salt/ seasoning. Nick’s Kitchen has indoor and outdoor seating and seeing as it was a beautiful day I dined outside. I had the benefit of two servers…Roxanne was training Marta so they both took care of me. I started off with a water and beer and ordered the chilled gulf shrimp as an appetizer along with the Mahi Tacos with onion rings for the main course. The shrimp were OK…actually tasted a bit dried out but the tacos were delicious. The flavors of the Mahi tenderloins with the corn pico de gallo, and creamy chipotle lime sauce was a great combination, the only part lacking a bit was the blackening flavors were lackluster. Still a good fish taco, but has the potential to be much better. I liked the onion rings, thick cut onions and a solid breading. We spend a lot of evenings on the island, always avoiding Nick’s, not sure why.A friend told me that had the best crab cakes, so we gave it a try. WOW, were we wrong. The crab cakes were delicious. We also tried the Shrimp Mickey app, and the Salmon Piccata. Everything was great, and the beer was COLD! There’s outside seating with a view of the gulf and the dining room is really nice, except the booths aren’t too comfortable. We’ll definitely go back. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great spot. Lots out outdoor seating to eat enjoying the ocean view (ocean across the street so a little loud with traffic but still nice). The mozzarella stick appetizer is unique and delicious - the dipping pasta sauce was so good … and the moz sticks were yummy! The blackened shrimp fettuccine was creamy and flavorful The blackened mahi mahi with shrimp and veggies was was a great combination. With the cream sauce The fried shrimp was good … (I would not recommend the garlic mashed potatoes - really plain and flavorless) Overall however the food was great! If you are looking for a reasonable priced restaurant near the beach then Nick's is worth a visit. Place was not overly crowded, atmosphere was nice, service was good and food was good. Family friendly with something on the menu for everyone. I wish I would have tried a milk shake as I saw some other customers order one and they looked legit. The worse thing about the place is the parking. Really small lot in the front, extra parking is a ways away across a street. Other than that, no complaints we enjoyed the meal.
