I ordered catering for a client lunch after they recommended Newks. This was the first time I had heard of this place, but we had a fantastic experience. I chose to pick it up instead of having it delivered, and I’m glad I did because it’s an impressive operation at the store. The team was quick to help, professional, and went the extra mile even to get us ice. The food was great (try the pimento sandwiches), and my client was thrilled! Thank you, Newk’s Flowood! I had a great experience at Newk's. I got a custom pizza, and I really love the new way they're doing the pizza! The old pizza crust was too thick and doughy, and didn't taste fresh. The new pizza crust is thin and crispy, and tastes fresh! I had to come try it after I heard my friends raving about it. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant too. I recommend placing an online order, especially if you want to make a lot of customizations; it's super easy and you can get discounts for meals using their website to order! I’ve always loved coming to this location. My last 2 online orders have taken quite some time to complete. There has also been times when I have had to wait 30 minutes or more. However, they have the best loaded potato soup ever. And for that reason I will be going back but this time I must call-in or make an order inside the restaurant.
