Such a nice little place in Hilversum! We came for a late lunch/early dinner, where we shared a big portion of deruny (rosti potatoes) and then each of us had a portion of pelmeni. Everything tastes really home made! Portions have a good size and were super tasteful! For dessert we had medovik (honey cake) and syrniki, and they didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend this place! Incredibly delicious food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and kind servers (most speak Ukrainian). It was an excellent taste of authentic Ukrainian food as attested to by my Ukrainian friend I ate here with. Will definitely be back. Slava Ukraini! Dit Pools-Oekraïense café is waar ik al een tijdje naar op zoek was. Je kan hier ontbijten, lunchen en sommige avonden ook dineren. Het menu is makkelijk te begrijpen en toegankelijk qua prijzen. Food was served quickly with a very friendly host. Menu items were explained very clearly. The menu had a few items from different eastern countries. The food arrived quickly which was a plus. All the dishes tasted great and you could taste it was freshly made in a homemade setting. Multiple desert choices which also tasted great! The atmosphere is very warm and cosy.
