Friendly, attentive staff, excellent food. The Monsters Burrito is huge and delicious. Nacho's replaced another restaurant and is a definite improvement. Located in a small strip mall adjoining Trig's supermarket but has a nice friendly atmosphere. Ate here on Monday 8/28. Our server was Selvester and he did an excellent job taking care of us. Salsa is excellent. If you like guacamole you need to get their chunky guacamole...again excellent. First of Sylvester gave us awesome service! I hope you realize what a great team member you have at your restaurant and I believe a raise in pay is in his future. Food was very tasty and came out very quickly. I highly recommend over all other Mexican restaurants in the North Woods! Well done. A great spot for Mexican food. We were there on a Saturday in the late afternoon. The staff was friendly and the dining room was clean and well organized. The chips are some of the best chips I have ever had and I even bought a to-go bag of them for later. The waitstaff was friendly. They are accommodating to dietary needs and are vegan friendly. I had the Mexico salad and it was perfect! My husband had the rice and bean burrito and he loved it. The rice was cooked perfectly and was a nice light brown rice. The hot sauce is house made and amazing!!! Nacho’s is on our list of go-to restaurants for a good meal when we are in the Northwoods. I feel guilty for turning my back on my favorite local Mexican restaurant in SE WI, but this is definitely now my favorite Mexican restaurant. I had the mango jalapeño margarita and it was AMAZING! They had quesabirria tacos as a special for Cinco de Mayo, and we also had the Piña Real. Both were spectacular. Even the chips and salsa were great, perfectly crispy and warm. Now I’m just sad that it’s a 4 hour drive from home 😂😭 Will definitely be back here on future visits up north. Nacho’s has a large menu, it was difficult to decide. We had the tacos (fish and shrimp) both very good. Service was great and the food was delicious. They were quiet busy but the wait was not long. Clean too, which is important to me. They’re doing it right.

First time here and I was happy we stopped. It was busy when we stopped but we were able to get a table right away. Fresh nacho chips and salsa were provided as soon as we were seated. Our server made sure we had drinks and then left us to peruse the menu. Menu: Excellent selection of Mexican dishes with beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp/fish. They also offer "monster" portion options. These are what I would call "contest sized meals". Portions were better than expected, I feel like I got my money worth. Quality: The kitchen staff clearly take pride in what they prepare. It was served fresh and hot, plated very nicely and served to our table with a smile. I had a steak burrito and the steak was juicy and tender. I find that steak strips can be hit or miss at some Mexican restaurants. Here it was a home run! Margaritas were flavorful and just right. Next time I'll try the "flight" so that I can sample all the flavors. We will be back for sure! *I suggest bringing cash for your meal. Not just the best Mexican restaurant in the Minocqua area, but probably one of the best overall. We have been here for 5 or 6 weeks in a row, and felt like sharing our experience. The California burrito is incredible, huge portions and fresh ingredients. My wife's favorite is the chicken fajita salad. For big appetites, they have a "giant" menu with oversized portions on huge plates. The wait staff are attentative and funny. Great place to go!
