While the place was crowded, and there was about an hour wait, this did not detract from the amazing food, service, and location of this restaurant! Everyone in our group was pleased with their meal, and I personally had the eggs Benedict which was incredible! The staff let us know about the wait time, and we were able to walk around the town in our spare time. Overall a great experience! Great customer experience, excellent wait staff, cooking team worked well getting delicious breakfast dishes out timely during a busy period of service. Propose, when capital needs develop, your leadership must expand the dining space to accommodate. Location is great for capturing traffic. I will refer my associates and family. Being a dog lover, I really want to love and honor this restaurant. The place is adorable with various dog portraits hung on the walls. As a vegetarian (who doesn't eat eggs) I was disappointed at the lack of options. (See menu). A note to the owners, a lot of your options could be vegetarian friendly, given an opportunity to take out the meat or eggs - for example, the avocado sandwich would be great minus the eggs! If you are wondering why don't I just order without the eggs - well, if you are a life-long vegetarian like me you become quite resentful of paying for things you don't eat in the first place. A restaurant though should be able to care for different dietary preferences, if they care to. I feel that My Dog Duke's Diner might be a restaurant that cares so I request them to make their menu a bit vegetarian/vegan friendly, because I want to go here again and I know many vegetarians are hungry and looking for options in Lynchburg. My vegetarian daughter and I got the Avocado Toast and the Belgian Waffles ordered with Tiramisu sauce. The toast was good, but the waffles were great! First time here - and we were seated immediately on a Friday afternoon and service was quick.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch! Super clean and the food was great! It’s not often you find a place that can nail breakfast AND cafe style coffee! And the grits were wonderful! Great menu and food. Completely accommodating with diet restrictions. Good and bottomless coffee. Service was quick on a busy Sunday morning.
