The last and final stop on this Valentine’s Day for my wife and I. It did not disappoint whatsoever. It was a beautiful sunny day so we got to enjoy the wonderful patio. My wife gets cold easily, but that’s not an issue here. Every table had both its own private heater, and a blanket placed neatly over the back of every chair. What a great touch! The ambiance and decor inside was fantastic with seating at the bar, in a separate room, and even a room that could be considered a sun room facing the patio with large windows. Great location and a fun atmosphere all the way around. The menu was eclectic with a variety of options. Probably the best hush puppies we’ve ever had. Normally these are dense with a lot of breading that is deep fried. What we had was a fluffy, melt in your mouth delicacy that had a thin breading layer that seemed almost flash fried. Don’t know how they did it, but it was nothing like your typical dense and heavy hush puppies. The pic attached speaks for itself. The southern spring rolls were also leaps and bounds better than normal. Pulled pork, shiitake mushrooms, collards and sesame ginger meld together so well that they sing a melody of flavors in your mouth. And the medley of mains we shared were also great: fresh seasonal asparagus soup, pimento grilled cheese, tomato basil soup, and southern fried chicken with a great tangy kick to it. Maybe we were lucky, maybe we were happy from the great drinks he brought us, but our server made both of us laugh out loud with his witty humor every time he came by our table. I wish I got his name so I could name drop, but unfortunately we were too into our food and the great atmosphere on this sunny day in Feb. Thanks for the great experience, we will be back. Incredible food! We came here as walk ins for dinner in New Years Eve. As busy as it was, we were able snag a table at the bar after a 30 min wait. I had the modern meatloaf with spicy collard greens and cheesy grits which were so delicious. My partner had the freekah bowl with Avocado. For dessert, we couldn't resist the peach shortcake and the bread pudding! So yummy! Looking forward to going bk when we return back to town later in the year ahead! The staff was very nice and attentive. Had a really enjoyable lunch. Kitchen thought they messed up an order, so they gave us another without us mentioning it. That is customer service. I have not experienced this level of customer service anywhere else. You get 5 stars from me on that alone. Fried pickles were amazing. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well prepared and presented food. Modern meatloaf, tomato pie, and shrimp and grits were solid selections. The Bourbon bread pudding was a nice ending. I grew up in Winston Salem and every time I am back in town I make it a point to go Mozelle's. All the food is amazing, especially the fried chicken and tomato pie. The staff is very friendly and are happy to answer any questions you have about the food. In the winter they have blankets and heaters for if you are seated outside and try to make you as warm as possible. Highly recommend!! First time eating here! I decided to bring my Granny here for her 80th to try the tomato pie. She absolutely loved it. Usually, she doesn't eat a lot, but this time she had a "happy plate." The meatloaf didn't look as I expected, but it was delicious. Grits, peach shortcake, & collard greens are recommended as well. The bourbon bread puddding wasn't a favorite due to the caramel sauce. Our server, Olivia, was very personable & we loved her energy. I wish it was a little bigger inside, only because it was slightly difficult to move around. Overall, Mozelle's was a great choice! Most consistent higher end dining experience in Winston-Salem. The wine list is also always very well put together for the season and reasonably priced. Always great service, wine service while we waited thanks to the amazing hostess. The meal was great, the pickles were A+! The shrimp and grits seems to be go to and never disappointed. Very well executed modern take on southern cuisine. For me, the best parts were the grits: creamy and cheesy and the fried chicken: moist and well seasoned. For dessert, the bread pudding was rich and decadent and the coconut pie light and not too sweet. Very happy with our whole meal beginning to end. The service was good, our waitress was knowledgeable and kind and helpful. Would return again. Wonderful!!!! From the setting, to the service, to the food everything was amazing. We shared the salad for and appetizer my husband got the meatloaf and I got the filet. I ordered my filet medium rare but it came out medium well but I didn’t even have to say something as soon as our waiter Alex walked by to check on us he saw it and immediately said he was going to have them make me another one. We had the bread pudding and peach shortbread desserts. We will be back the next time we visit for sure! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Very cute, warm, bright feel inside. I love the atmosphere. I felt nice and relaxed. The Shrimp and Grits was very well done. It is a heavy dish in my opinion and not something I would get often. With that being said, it was an excellent meal. I finished it off with some homemade buttermilk ice cream with sea salt and olive oil. Sounded weird which is exactly why I got it and it was excellent! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
