The place has a little swag, but if you're going to boast French pastry it better be great. Coffees are good, pastries were dry. Was a bit pricey too. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Cute French cafe here in Venice! Stumbled upon this placr after having brunch nearby. I can’t wait to come back next time to try their quiche and pastries with a cup of coffee. I got a dessert to take home - Palermo. It was a delicious Pistachio entremet. They have a mimosa brunch special on Sundays. Still waiting for their fridges to be up and running. I hope they update their Google page once it’s up so we can come by again. The pastries looked so delicious! I wish they also had bread. The decor was cute and trendy. Feels like there’s something for everyone there - books, board games and puzzles too I think. Inviting place to sit down, drink coffee and relax. I stumbled upon this place after hearing from people that this place opened recently. Very spacious for a cafe; has plenty of seating. The owner and his family are delightful people. They have a good selection of pastries and desserts. I did not try them this time, so cannot comment on them. I ordered a tea and Le Veggie croissant sandwich (pesto, tomato, and mozzarella in a croissant). The sandwich was very tasty, but also very small, particularly for the price. It was on this very small round croissant. For the price, it should have been on at least a standard sized croissant. I was also a little surprised that, for a cafe, they only had black tea and chamomile. I would strongly recommend that they increase their tea selection to at least have some green teas and fruity teas. When you are paying more than $3 for tea, you should at least be able to have something a little more premium and interesting than black and chamomile. Overall, I had a very good experience, but since they are new, I have the following recommendations for improvement for the owners, which I think will go a long way: 1. Please get rid of the dead Frenchman skeleton (the life-size Halloween skeleton with a French mustache and hat) in the dining area. With the median age in the area over 60, being reminded of your mortality while eating in a cafe is in poor taste. I think the elderly population would appreciate it if you buried the skeleton. 2. The bathroom sconce above the mirror needs to be professionally fixed. It completely ruins the charm of the place to walk into the bathroom and see that an old sconce was ripped off the wall and another one just installed right over the damaged wall without any finishing or painting. Attention to detail is everything in a cute cafe. If there are other things that are not finished, please finish them. 3. The toilet paper needs to be upgraded. This is not McDonald's where you can get away with tissue paper toilet paper. I paid over $18 for a croissant sandwich and tea. A reasonable quality toilet paper would be nice. 4. The dining area needs some charm. It is a big space and right now it is very bland. Only the red chairs add a pop of color. Maybe add some fake plants, some white patio or Christmas lights, some cute decorations, something to make the space look cozy and charming. Make the space inviting for people to come with friends, for some coffee and pastries and just relax. I hope my comments are not taken harshly. I really like the people that work there and I wish them all the best in this new business so I thought I would provide some helpful suggestions. The place has potential. Great experience, the French worker greeted us happily and they were very open to whatever order you have ready for coffee. Got creative and mixed two good flavors for a ratatouille type experience. The cherry cream cheese Danish was also unreal. Would recommend for a quick stop or a long stay to study. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
OMG! I’ve been waiting for pastries that are superior and this is the place. These are Michelin star pastries. So are the owners/servers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
