It was super busy and crowded, so though we had a reservation, we still waited about 35 minutes before we were seated. Nice atmosphere, though it's pretty loud, expensive, but good portions for the price. I got the Cajun steak and I didn't taste any spice however, it was well prepared with good flavor. The bacon wrapped scallops would've been better if the bacon was crispyier and the lobster mac & cheese needed more seasoning, but the hot chocolate cake was delicious! I would say overall 7/10 and I would return. Also, today was my birthday and I think it's cool that they take a picture of you plus customize your menu. Went to Morton’s for a birthday dinner recently. First, the service was excellent! They took a picture of the four of us and gave specialized mini menus. And this was while also managing another group of 10. I was not very impressed with my steak, however. Ordered the filet mignon and it really did not have much flavor although it was cooked well and was a decent cut of meat. I just expected something better from a $60 steak than what it was. My partner ordered the Cajun ribeye and his was better than mine though. The sides and salads were great! I think I would return for a special occasion but try something other than the steak. Also, I noticed from looking at the other tables that they don’t hold a firm line to the dress code. Many people dressed casually but not messy, if that makes sense. Overall, good experience. My bff and I came here and I ordered the filet mignon it was dry and disgusting. I literally took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. The loaded baked potato was good. Also ordered the grilled shrimp and it seemed more like shrimp cocktail than grilled. The whole meal definitely wasn’t worth the price at all. Probably won’t ever be back. Came to Morton’s for a birthday dinner. Ted was our server and he was patient, attentive, and overall great at his job. The manager, John, came up to us after our entrees and suggested we try a couple different desserts, told us a few stories and cracked jokes. John and Ted made the experience a whole lot better just by being kind and personable. Food was great and the atmosphere was great as well. Thank you for the good experience! The experience we had was great as we were with a great group of friends but I was highly disappointed with the management. He acted very entitled and rude when addressing our concerns of an over cooked steak. In my professional opinion the manager needs to take class on etiquette and how to treat the customers with empathy. He is representing the business in a poor manner and we will not be returning. Our waiter on the other hand was extremely professional and delightful. As a group we rate the food a 5/10 at best and you can get a better steak at capital grill down the road.
