I am always impressed with the quality of the food, the friendly service and great drinks. This is a fantastic place to go for a date night, Sunday brunch or just when you're in the mood for something nice. Highly recommend the patio when the weather suits it, but inside is quiet and intimate as well. Try it, you'll love it here! It’s been at least a year since we’ve been here, so we decided to try it again. Our first experience was wonderful, our second experience was so so as well as this one. We had the airline chicken breast, my husband said his was tough, mine was good. The gravy/sauce was mediocre. I had to add a lot of salt to get any flavor. I had a lavender/berry/lemon drop that was fabulous and my husband had a superb glass of wine. As someone mentioned in a previous review, the homemade rolls are delicious and are the highlight of the meal. We asked to see the dessert menu (The people sitting next to us said we should try the chocolate sundae) We asked our server for a dessert menu as we were curious about the Sundae. He said he could just tell us about the Sundae and stated it was vanilla ice cream with caramel and housemaid chocolate ganache. I asked for a tiny bit of ganache on the side and he said no problem. They brought the Sunday in a tall (Somewhat narrow ) glass, it had two scoops of ice cream and whipped cream on the top. Most of the ganache was swirled on the plate and down the sides of the sundae with some on the inside. When I ask where the side of ganache was, our server said that they put it at the bottom of the ice cream. So, by the time we were done with the two scoops of ice cream, all the ganache was at the bottom. When we looked at our receipt we were surprised to see that the Sundae was $18, and the extra ganache was an additional $3. So essentially $21 for a two scoop chocolate sundae. We found that to be an over-the-top price for what was served to us. Another thing to mention was the people sitting next to us. They arrived well after us, however they were served their dinner first. We were given one dinner roll each with one scoop of garlic butter for the two of us. When our server gave the people sitting directly next to us their rolls they each got a portion of garlic butter. I made a joke asking her how she got extra butter and she said that the server knew them. So it was a little awkward, seeing the extra special treatment, 2 feet away from us. I’m sorry to have rated it so low but that was our experience. I think others should know if you don’t look at the menu you should definitely ask the price of the dessert🤷‍♀️ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
