Came here with friends on a Thursday night. It was not busy at all. The quality of food was very inconsistent. Corn fritters were lukewarm; friend’s grilled fish taco was not edible. Seemed as though it was saved from lunchtime and then microwaved for dinner. Salsa was overly smoky like eating a matchstick that was just blown out. Waitress was very nice although we didn’t see her for a long time so it took a while to finally get our bill. Wouldn’t return. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Tacos are ok - being originally from Mexico I would keep cheese off the beef Tacos ... atmosphere is nice. Good options of draft beers. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The service is horrible, we had to ask for water refills because we were left alone for so long. The food is mid at best, but cheap so it’s not bad. If you’re coming here expecting Mexican food, don’t. The salsa has a smoky taste and is smothered in oil, the chips are practically kettle cooked, and the cilantro rice just tastes off. You’d be better off going to Jack in the Box. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We enjoyed our meal. Very friendly staff. Loved the stickers I found around the walls. Totally fun stop. Will def be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Guacamole
My friend and I had a lovely time at Mission Taco yesterday and sat on the patio! We had the best host / server, she was the BEST, so helpful, knowledgeable with recommendations and so friendly! I had the spicy taco & salsa and chips and both were very good. KC has so, so many awesome authentic Mexican places that are great but sometimes you want something little different, they have things like a Mexican flair Cubano sandwich and other different items. it's so refreshing have someplace different and delicious!
Very good food, and waiting time was short. Would highly recommend the South Beach Burrito, and would get it smothered in queso, unless you aren’t the biggest fan of cheese. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Burrito
I live in the southwest so my expectations for Hispanic food can be different than where I'm traveling to. Someone recommended this place to us- not bad but not blow your mind. We had the BLT, Yucatan, and hot chicken tacos as well as a chicken quesadilla and street corn as a side. The BLT taco was our favorite. It has a mild spice that we weren't expecting. Everything else was good - some things needed a touch more salt. Service was friendly and we got there as they opened so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. It's not gonna rank in my top Mexican/taco joints but I'm not sad about what I got. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Food was solid but lacked real bold flavors all around. The queso was mild and had the consistency of a beer cheese instead of that ooey gooey yumminess you'd expect. The tacos were good portions and fairly priced. I'd come back for the atmosphere and drink selection. Was able to catch some live music going on outside while I enjoyed my meal. Griffin was very welcoming and friendly, he did a wonderful job! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Gourmet flavors in everything I tasted. I especially loved the fire roasted 🔥 salsa with my chips; pleasantly unexpected and appreciated. I know it wasn't salsa from a jar--THANK YOU MTJ! Our sever Thyme was friendly and very accommodating. Our food took just a bit longer to cook than I expected from a Taco joint, but the flavors, presentation, and deliciousness 😋 explained it all-- Our food was hot and cooked to order, so all the way fresh! The Paloma mocktail was SOOOO GOOD. A freshly made/squeezed grapefruit-tequila refresher. Great place to take family, kids, to have girls night out, or a couples group date. Thank MTJ for a great experience! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We LOVE this place!! Amazing food, great cocktails (and even better mocktails 😉) and such an excellent staff. We sat at the bar and had Kate as our bartender, she was so attentive, quick to check on us, and gave great suggestions. All the staff was very friendly and you can tell they love where they work - they are a fun, wild bunch! We are so happy to have a Mission Taco out South finally!!! Pro tip: order the Flautas & the frozen Marg. Get yourself here now for a happy hour. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
