Very nice welcoming place! It was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. All the sides were yummy (baked beans was sweeter than I thought) and the main meats were awesome. The brisket and jalapeno sausage was chefs kiss. The staff were also so sweet and nice and were very accomodating. Will definitely come back! First time in. Asked for recommendations and Hannah was quick to answer and offer/provide samples. We ordered the 3 meat Sampler (ribs, pulled pork and brisket) with two sides. The food was great and the decor was awesome! Love the appreciation of the military and first responders. Was a great experience overall! Im from Texas and I can tell you that the BBQ from here made me feel like if I was back home. It was my first time here and the employee was very polite and friendly another employee welcome us and gave us a free sandwich card for being our first time. Always a good meal and great service. Plenty of selections for everyone to choose from. Great smoky flavor on all the meats, and a wide variety of sauces to dip in. Food is very fresh and tasty. The place is nice and so is the food. They have a nice size menu with good variety. Can't knock them for their customers but when we walked in everyone got quiet and stared at us as if we didn't belong there. It was pretty uncomfortable but we're used to it as we're an interracial couple. But like I said the staff was nice. They weren't too crowded or busy. It was my 2nd time there. I was there when it first opened years ago and the staff at that time were very rude and arrogant but not last night, completely different, really nice. My complaint was the large piece of vone I found in my Chopped Deluxe sandwich. At first I thought it was a piece of overcooked meat but it wasn't, it was a piece of bone anlittle over an inch long. Overall, it's a good place and we'll probably go back. Shout out to the guy with the glasses who was cutting the brisket (?) like a boss. He was doing his thing while looking straight ahead, didn't even have to look down! He put on a show and provably didn't even realize it. Even my wife said she was impressed. Shout out to the staff. Had a really great experience with both the person taking our order and the person helping us take our order to our seats. Checked in as we were eating and brought us some take home boxes for the leftovers. Super friendly! Give the staff working around noon on 2/4/24 my compliments! We’ve eaten here several times, but tonight was the most impressive! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. They made our daughter feel special from the minute we checked in to order- giving her a temporary tattoo and a themed coloring page. Highly recommend this location! You can tell they are proud of the work they do because I’ve never experienced a more inviting restaurant. Loved it all! Thank you! First time we ate here. I had the brisket sandwich - meat was tender and juicy, same with the ribeye and spareribs ( my wife gave me some ribeye and my daughter gave me some spareribs 😃) while my son and son-in-law each had the pulled pork sandwich. Just wish my other daughter was with us but she’s away in school. Excellent atmosphere and my favorite is how our veterans are honored by this place. I truly love that. Try it out people! First time visiting a mission bbq location. Because it’s a chain I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Food was fantastic even my picky kids enjoyed it. I had the brisket sandwich, baked beans and potato salad all of which were fantastic. My family together had baby back ribs, pulled pork coleslaw and a few other sides all of which they enjoyed. The staff was super friendly and the manager very helpful and accommodating. Even with some of my family members having a gluten allergy the manager was able to quickly tell me what sauces contained gluten. I highly recommend and I’ll certainly return asap. Great place to eat. The food was delicious and fresh. The service from the staff was exceptional. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was down to earth and heavily patriotic. Think of it as a military Cracker Barrel meets BBQ pit ate here twice great food each time. My only complaint was not seeing the 2nd Infantry unit patch anywhere on the walls but other than that definitely recommend this place
