This place is a RIP OFF! We walked in, sat ourselves, and waited 10 minutes to have our drink orders taken. We ordered milkshakes that came to us lumpy (wife's was warm). We ordered our food 2 meals that came out in 15 minutes or so. Their menu prices are not honored; they claim that prices fluctuate but don't disclose how much from the menu they are deviating. I ordered a $13 meal and $8 dollar milkshake according to the menu; the total should have came to $21 meal (nasty scrambled eggs, mushy sausage links, and mediocre toast) plus the 3% kitchen appreciation fee. My meal was up charged to over $20 and the milkshake was up charged to $10 plus the 3% kitchen fee. Our total for 2 people came to over $70 after they crassly deviated from their listed menu prices. I'm extremely confused on how they've managed to garner such a high review with horrible food and service. See response from owner. Clearly they don't get it! You should absolutely eat at home or somewhere else for better food and service! BTW the bad day didn't happen until we visited your establishment which will NEVER happen again. This town diner serves breakfast through bar fare. I enjoyed excellent, speedy service for sit-down breakfast. (In and out in 20 minutes). My coffee was hot and kept full. The food is simple but straightforward. I really appreciated the variety of condiments. It is pricey for one for a diner (25$ for a breakfast with coffee including tip) Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Build Your Own Benedict

I love eating at the Minuteman Diner. Today, I ordered biscuits and gravy. (Hey, I'm from the South. I know it's a tough dish to nail.) I got a beautiful plate, but the gravy wasn't hot. (The horror!) I mentioned it to my server, and she had it corrected immediately. Was it good? Yes. Was I left wanting more? You bet. Home fries, 2 eggs, 2 biscuits (with gravy) and a piece of sausage was $16.00. The coffee was fresh and hot, and the refills were offered frequently. The diner is (maybe) a little pricey; but, home cooking comes at a cost. Try the Minuteman Diner on your next visit to Bedford. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Menu prices are purposely misrepresented. Charged significantly more money than what was listed on the menu. When I brought it up they apologized and pointed to an asterisk note (after the allergy warning) that said prices were subject to change. The food was great diner style food and the atmosphere was excellent, in fact everything was great except getting a significantly larger bill at the the end of the meal than what was advertised. They also add a mandatory kitchen gratuity on top of the unadvertised price. I don't mind paying fair value for a meal, but making up new prices and then adding random fees at the the end is just misrepresenting the cost. Just charge whatever you need to charge and pay your staff whatever commission they should get. $30 for hash and eggs breakfast after all that.
