Similar experience like Mister Luther except I parked in the rear I think in a residential parking lot because the road sidewalk parking was full. I’m not sure if he’s the owner but he certainly did make the sandwich with his bare hands I didn’t see him touch his face or anything but I’d say he’s not into hygiene or anything because he did touch each every cold cut and wet ingredients with his fingers. The cold cuts sit next to his slicer and I seen a couple flies landing on them during the process. The best part is while ringing me up for the sandwich I asked for napkins and he looked at me like I had 3 heads and in almost a temper said yea ok I got it! Like I was crazy or maybe I shouldn’t have asked cause he was gonna give them over shame on me. My sandwich was $17.00 or $18.00 even he just rounds up I believe, so I’m not sure if he charges the consumer tax correctly. I paid cash so I wonder if he just put that’s in his pocket, and cheats the tax man or does he actually deposit it. Very weird guy and store. The owner leaves nasty responses back but seems doesn’t deny fact of the no gloves or how he rounds up on the sales tax. Very gross. The way he responds to these post is same way he treats clients who eat his science project of sandwiches. Just for the record google ask for rating on service, atmosphere & food. Lots of luck 🍀 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Stay away. I seen this place on a review somewhere, and decided to take a ride for lunch. As I entered the owner is behind the counter very unhappy to be there, or so it seems. He’s sweaty, sloppy, and unshaven. He asks what do you want to order as his bear hand wipes sweat off his forehead. He walks away and continues to wipe his sweaty face and beard, but I guess no biggie surely a place charging $20.00 dollars for sandwiches that considers themselves high end has high end procedures in place, and he will put gloves on. Little did I know he would make the same sandwich literally with the same hand that wiped his sweat off his face, and also later on scratched his nose while he made the food. Most of my horror came when he reached into the see thru fridge where he stored drenched peppers, and bare handed them with a side of covid, and sweat. I wouldn’t even bear hand wet ingredients in my own private home. What’s wrong with this guy?!?!?! Not only are you getting the most disgusting unhygienic sandwich, but the owner sincerely has an aggressive attitude to his customers, and really needs to see someone for help. You can’t run a business like this!!! This is a health departments dream come true. If he’s doing this right in front of customers 4 feet away, I cannot imagine what happens in the back kitchen or after he’s done in the bathroom. I videoed the horror of this so the owner can’t deny I will post soon. Just change your ways mister angry man, put some gloves on, don’t touch your face, and when the cutting knife falls on the floor wash it off before reuse which I videoed, and most of all put a smile on your face for the suckers paying you that kind of money for a hero. When the customer leaves you can be angry all you want but fake it until you make buddy! Also parking is a nightmare!!! This place is gross, dirty, and the owner is a complete unaware slob to run this type of business. I’d venture to say he’s completely even unaware of how he behaves hygienically, and within his own personality which makes it even worse! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place utilizes the best ingredients and is all hand crafted by an amazing chef (David) The food was truly delicious and Dave even took into account my nieces allergies making me feel at ease at the party. The service was impeccable and I will be using this place solely for all Of my catering needs going forward. Thank you again Dave! Ps his family does amazing work for those with special needs! My family and i did a private cooking lesson with david to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. David taught us to make his master sauce, a shrimp dish and fresh mozzarella. He used quality ingredients and educated us on how to find the best ingredients to use at home. Overall a really fun experience that i would highly recommend. Thanks so much david!! This one was on my list to try and was passing by the area for an appointment so popped in. It was definitely a little early for a sandwich but I wasn’t gonna let that stop me and I received no objections about making a lunch sandwhich during breakfast hours. I went with the Cugine even though the Capo looked more my classic order. Hard for me to turn down good eggplant and this one had some buzz plus it sounded devine. HOLY MOLY!!! What a sandwich!?!?! Massive but light and easy to eat and want more. Every aspect is perfection especially the bread infused w salami. I will be back. I have to try the Capo but I can’t imagine going here and not getting this Cugine as this is easily one of the best sandwiches I have ever had and I’ve had a few. Kudos to Mercato Cucina. How did it take me this long to discover this spot? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just moved to Huntington from Bay Ridge Brooklyn and by chance my wife and I walked by this place and saw menu items such as “shore road” and “67th street” (Places in bay ridge and dyker heights). What an amazing find!, if you are from Brooklyn or want authentic old school Italian products, treats and sandwiches this is THE place to go in Huntington. We are so happy we found this place that reminds us of Bay Ridge/Dyker and I was worried I would have to drive back to get a quality Italian sandwich, but this place definitely lives up to our standards. Rainbow cookies are A+++ like villabate alba. Amazing food. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
