I used to love Melt. It was so good when they first opened but then something happened. We ate here last year and it was just terrible. I get the same sandwich every time but this time it just tastes horrible. It was like wilted, soaking in grease, tasted more like oil than cheese. The fries were worse. They were swimming in oil. Not even cooked, kinda like a floppy wet noodle. My girlfriend wanted ranch with her fries, okay no big deal right? Then I saw the bill and they charged for ranch! They really need to inform you when you ask for ranch that they will charge you, if they did that I would still get it because they were honest, but to not mention anything???? That's just rude. No worries here though because I have no reason to ever go back. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Wonderful eats and server Gavin was great. Mother in law didn't care for the style cole slaw and he got her fries! A little dim in the dining for my like but great eye candy and nostalgia on the walls! Went inside I’m wondering why the place was EMPTY I had never seen a restaurant with just one person eating there that should’ve been the red flag for me but I was anxious to try the 6 degrees Kevin bacon drove far for it too. The sandwich was horrible ! Sooo much thick cream it was like i was eating a sauce sandwich, the bacon was not done and disgusting, whatever little meat was on there wasn’t fresh. The waiter didn’t even ask how the food was because I would’ve told her immediately that was not good and she saw the unhappy look on my face too as I was examining the sandwich wondering what I just bit into. Everything in me wanted to give that sandwich back and walk out but the place was so empty I was trying my hardest to be polite. I left half the sandwich on the table and took the other half and basically didn’t eat the sandwich at all. So gross I’m appalled really, I posted photos after the result of me examining the sandwich thoroughly realizing it’s just 2 thick layers of garlic butter, 5 pieces of thick uncooked bacon, and plenty of fat from who knows what !
