I love the pizzas, but they recently remodeled the store, I don't really like the new decor. It has lost its allure, well, at least in my eye. It is more like a chain style. Which, of course it is probably a franchise. And was decided by the corporate offices. But the food is still great! I have had their pizza before and it’s good. But the Italian hoagie was amazing. Service was excellent as well. They have a wide selection of local beers and flight options. Ozark strawberry rhubarb is one of the best i have had. It may be seasonal as it wasn’t on the regular drink menu but i think they should incorporate it on the main menu. Overall, our experience here was pretty good. We got seated right away which was nice considering it was a Friday night. We could tell our server was new. We asked a few questions and you could tell she wasn't confident in her answers. But that wasn't a big deal, every server is new at some point. The inside decor has that classic Mellow Mushroom funkiness but pretty tame compared to some of the locations in other states. Our food was decent. I thought the pizza was just ok, but my girlfriend really enjoyed hers. The crust had a very good flavor and was the best part IMO. They put a little too much sauce on for my liking but my gf likes a lot of sauce, so we were split in our opinion of the pizza. With all that being said it was a pretty good dining experience and I would go back again. Waiting 40+ minutes for two pizzas. One arrived 20 minutes before the other because they “dropped a slice in the oven.” Don’t you cut pizza after cooking it? Weird. Anyways my husband was halfway done with the largest pizza they had and I still hadn’t got mine.
