I mean, it's McDonald's. So the food is not Gourmet. However, the North Bend McDonald's staff is always upbeat and fun to interact with. In addition, I rarely have items missing from my order or completed incorrectly. I do wish that whoever puts the sandwiches together could manage to stack them a little more neatly. But, All In all, it is always a fun and pleasant interaction whenever I stop off there for a coffee drink or a snack. Located on Broadway, this McDonald's restaurant is kept immaculately clean. Was greeted almost immediately after coming in lobby door at 06:03 a.m. and told "someone will be right with you to take your order". A team member was right up there to get my order in less than a minute from being greeted. I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits to go. My order was ready for me very quickly and was warm, a straw for my drink and napkins accompanied my bag. Both biscuits were hard along the edges as if they were baked a little bit too long, This wasn't something that ruined my breakfast, but was surprising more than anything as this location has always presented my order with a consistency of quality and taste no matter when I find myself eating here for breakfast or lunch. I will continue to come here to this location and do appreciate the courteous and friendly workers I encounter anytime I visit here to satisfy my craving for something to eat or drink from the Golden Arches! I normally give only good reviews, but this place needs attention. The employees here actively avoid taking orders at the counter. There was nobody monitoring the lobby for customers. I waited with another customer for a few minutes before we both started to self order at the kiosks. Someone then came out from the kitchen and stood behind the counter. The other customer and I then ordered at the counter. I stayed in the lobby for over an hour and saw this occur customer after customer. A poor old lady literally stepped behind the counter asking for service after her calls for help went unanswered. Two minutes to midnight (close) and they were still serving. Even prepared fresh fries that they kindly salted and warned us of the freshness and the danger of heat burns. Most times fast food joints in coos bay stop serving well before their scheduled time. And keep the drive thru lights and signs on. To look like they r serving. But I found they don't even acknowledge the inconvenience they cause. But they want every minute on the time cards and do half the job they are being paid to do. However, this McDonald's at this location. Were the epitome of fast friendly and helpful service. Service was honest. Prompt fresh and employees friendly and informative. Food also didn't lead to any tummy distress. They are worth the responsibility they are expected to carry out with fast food customer service. First visit to a McDonalds in forever. Facility was completely sterile. Zero comfort totally void of any feeling. Ordered via one of the MANY kiosks. Food took over 10 minutes- this as they had a line around the building for the drive through. Food was stone cold. Fries soggy. They called our number to pick up. No thanks nada.
