Came here for karaoke on Tuesday night. KJ only had YouTube to look up songs. There were only 8 people in the entire place but it took an hour to get a song in. Drinks were pretty pricy for being a dive bar. $8 for an Adios MF and a whopping $10 for a vodka and redbull. Asked for a well whiskey and coke and was charged $7.75 for a jack and coke. I also bought some $2 tacos. They were just ok, basic but nothing special. This bar is really close to my house but I don't feel a need to come back due to the drinks being too expensive and the karaoke being just average. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s.
