The people behind the counter seemed very agitated and rushed me through. The food was ok but the hot meals were too hot and the crab ragoon had no seafood, just plain cream cheeses. Absolute hidden gem in the mall, always swing by here whenever I’m grabbing stuff at other stores. Food is always super fresh, hot and tasty! The staff is very polite. I always get the Combo 2 with the fried rice, orange chicken and cream cheese wontons. it’s more than plenty for 1 person to eat! If you are in Duluth area and want something quick and fast, don’t overlook this spot! Best Chinese food in Duluth, the fried rice is amazing, the lo-mein is life changing. The pretty cashier with glasses was super sweet and complimented my outfit. 11/10 would eat again. We love coming to Max Orient when we visit Duluth Miller Hill Mall.. The food is always super fresh and super delicious!! We have never had a bad experience stopping there to eat.. it's all oriental food's and definitely what we are looking for in our taste of cuisine..it is always freshly made and everything is home made.. I highly recommend if you haven't yet to stop by and try it..we wish they were located closer to home but when we are able to stop it's always well worth it..you wouldn't be disappointed!!!

I got the Combo 2, which is two entrees with either fried rice or lo mein. So I ordered the orange chicken, chicken with mushrooms, and vegetable lo mein. It is great! I highly recommend all of the dishes. Chicken was tender and flavorful. There was enough sauce and marinade so it wasn’t dry. I also ordered cream cheese wontons. The service was very fast, and also friendly. Definitely stopping by again!

I have been loving the food here since 2008 (which was the first time I had been to Max Orient) I am always craving their food! So many choices and different ways to make combos. Price is very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get! Only go to the mall if you're planning on stopping here for a bite. Trust me, if you do... your tongue and tummy will be happy.
