I wanted to step out and go to the bar with my cousin, who came down from Modesto. We ordered food that took for ever to come, the food was cold and oily so I ask the guy to touch the food and he apologized after taking it back to the kitchen . He then bought me a cup that had the company name on it Mavericks. No big deal. Another side of the bar had a bull that I wanted to ride that I was told was free. When I got there, it was an African-American black, security guard. The guy told me that the price was five dollars and I had to walk around to the other side to get in from another door. When I got there, it was an owner. That was Caucasian. I think his name is Dav. Dave told me that it was $10 to get in and I told him how do we go from 0 to 5 to $10 and that I just purchased food that was not up to par. That I just wanted to ride the bull and leave that I won’t be there for long not even five mins. He then told me that the security guard, and the waitress should pay for me if I wanted to get in. The worst experience of my life. I said excuse me? He said if I want to get in tell the men that gave me the wrong info to pay my way in. I’m African-American myself. I would never go to that bar again. It was a waste of my time and money, and the owner seem like a racist anyways. Myself becoming a small business owner. I would never treat someone like that. I would never recommend someone to this hole in the wall place.

One of our best experiences in the US. We travelled through 7 States on our road trip and were really lucky just to happen to pass through Pleasanton and decided to spend the night. Maverick’s Just happened to be a local bar to our hotel. What a cracking night. So much fun for us to watch, dance, bull ride! and be part of real fun American culture. Thanks Mavericks for a great and memorable evening
