Good pasties, but you gotta have them heat it up in the oven until they get all nice and hot and crispy. Then you will have a proper hot handheld meal encased in the baked dough, containing the gravy and meat and veg, all for the taking. You are the king of your lunch. This is a must stop place when you are visiting grass valley. There's nothing better than a traditional English pastie for a lunch snack. I always try to buy at least a half a dozen to take them and freeze, they reheat quickly and beautifully. Marshalls is an institution, I'm happy to see the Next Generation carrying the torch.
