One of the best meals on our visit to TN. Don’t miss this place! Biscuits are huge and everything on them is delicious!! Biscuits and gravy has a bit of a kick. The cooks & the person taking the order have a lack of communication. 3 times I've ordered the sweet grace & I get it without chips, I want powdered sugar & whip cream along with the syrup. I stressed every time, not plain. The person's taking the order always yells out plain. I always say I still want all the others. I never get it. I always have to go back & ask again for everything that goes on it. By the time I get syrup, sugar & and cream, The waffle is cold! I ordered the toffee caramel coffee this trip & coffee was warm at best! Tasted horrible! The food is good but there's room for improvement for sure with the help. I didn't complain as the restaurant was extremely busy! I only asked for the items I was missing. The young girl making coffees needs a lot more training but was super nice. The potatoes bowl was very cold & hard. I hadn't taken my fiance here yet & this was his 1st trip. He didn't get the hype of all the good foods I had been telling him about. Heck yes!!!! Definitely worth a cheat day. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. We both had the Five and Dime- a homemade biscuit with chicken, bacon, cheese and egg, all topped with delicious gravy- one of my favorite breakfasts ever!!!! We need one in East Knox. The Bam Bam Yo chicken and waffles breakfast was excellent. Living in Wisconsin, it's hard to come by a place that does it right, so I'm glad I stopped by this place while killing time before heading to the airport. First time trying it and WOW. The female cashier was fantastic! Stellar personality yet super efficient. I got the Cowboy biscuit with the most scrumptious vegetarian gravy with mushrooms. The biscuit was perfect, the bacon thick and well cooked, eggs perfect, in short it was a delicious hot mess. I'm glad I added one order (two pieces) of the hash brown patties because those were absolutely delicious. I even bought a $3 small maple syrup bottle to take home. I tried the coffee and it was good. Better than Starbucks by far. Fast service, even with the long lines. Truly blown away by my first visit so I'll definitely return soon. And often. Ordered the Bacon, egg, cheese biscuit sandwich with sausage gravy. It was delicious! The biscuit lover in me wished the biscuit was larger & fluffier. The gravy was divine! The maple latte was quite tasty also. The ordering & dining areas were welcoming & I loved the decor. The restrooms... I don't advise using. I felt as if I had stepped out of the restaurant & into a backroad service station facility. The baseboard was thick with dust, the walls had dried drippings, & the toilet bowl was pink with scum. Ate here with a friend yesterday and the food was delicious. The coffee was good as well. The restaurant is clean and the service was fast and super friendly. The bathrooms were clean. I'd surely eat here again! One thing to note... The chicken and the sausage gravy are a tad spicy. My husband didn't think it was but I did....just wanted to give a heads up. I will have to say that maple Street is the best kept secret in Knoxville. My family tried this restaurant today for the first time found it to bed amazing. I loved everything from the ambience and the polite and courteous staff. They have this cute thing they do when you order. Instead of asking you for your name they ask you for your favorite karaoke song. My daughter picked Wheels on the bus. When our order was ready they shouted out the wheels on the bus. My daughter loved. It was really cute. We get our food and drinks and the presentation of the food looks so good you didn't even want to eat it. Everything was so delicious. We did have a few things wrong my sandwich the bacon was undercooked but the manager took care of it lickety split. The signature coffee could have had a little bit more Maple and it's. With all that hands down. One of the best restaurants we've been to in a few months. There was a new kid there who had just started never had a job before he was amazing.

We got the chicken and waffles and the country fried steak biscuit with sausage gravy. It was delicious. This has a Cajun-Louisiana taste to it. It is innovative. The gravy has a slight kick and the chicken is flavored very well. Highly recommend and definitely will be going back.
