Not service animal friendly at all. Statements are made long before the management ever sees how a service dog behaves. This service animal belongs to a USMC veteran who faught in desert storm and is an invaluable part of my family and how my husband functions! He provides him some facsimile of "normal". The person (Joanne) in bar today who was working is a disgusting example of professionalism! They cost your establishment several hours of income from 7 good paying customers and well tipping patrons!! Shame on this establishment for questioning a service animal THAT IS TRAINED AND PAPERED LEGITIMATELY trained!!! ALL PAPER AND DOCUMENTS ON HAND AND AVAILABLE.

This is a little gem hidden between Newport and Toledo. If you get a chance to drive the beautiful bay road, stop in for some great pub grub, fun and friendly wait staff, and to meet some of the awesome locals. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

What I'm down in Newport I go to the Bayfront drive through there it's fun drive on to the Oregon oyster Farm on the way back I stop at the Mad Dog Tavern for a fantastic Ultra cold beer a little gaming and fun people to talk to the owners of the restaurant bar and Eatery are also great folks Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped by on a chance they were open, and we experienced awesome service 😁 great prices in beer and food, cheapest in the area! Play video games and keno. They are also on the motorcycle map route for western Oregon.

Great little spot off the beaten path. Welcomes motorcycles and place is clean. Large gravel lot for parking. They host an annual car show during the summer with great food!

I love the dog! I just hope that the new owners DO NOT ruin the last tavern in Lincoln County! PLEASE don't put hard liquor in the tavern. You'll ruin the entire atmosphere.

Local bar friendly hit it in slow season nice selection of beers and wine..didn't try the food ,been here a few times and will definitely be back.

The staff is very friendly and so are the regulars! This is a very small tavern, but intimate too. They have a nice menu and a good list of beers and ciders to choose from. Keno is also offered, along with some lottery games. Have a great time!
