Lydia’s bake shop is amazing. Her cookies are wonderful. They stay so soft and the flavors are incredible. The atmosphere is perfect to catch up with a friend, read a book, have a Bible study or even shop in their hometown finds furniture section. Highly highly recommend a trip to Lydia’s. I ordered online for pick-up today. The process was seamless. I stopped in and was easily able to get my dozen. Some were still warm from the oven. And the group of people I shared the cookies with kept asking— “where are these from, again?” If you need to take a dessert to a function, you cannot beat Lydia’s cookies. Lydia was absolutely incredible. I was on my way to a job interview and a little nervous. I saw the bake shop sign and popped in. I was greeted by the most lovely woman at the counter, turns out this is Lydia! Every single cookie looked absolutely perfect. I was leaning towards the GOAT cookie when Lydia let me know that was her favorite. It was INCREDIBLE, definitely lives up to its name. I told Lydia about the interview and she said her cookies were good luck. I love sitting with my family or friends at Lydia's bakeshop. The cookies are delicious, I get mine with milk while I sit, relax and have great conversations. Lydia knocked it out of the park. I stopped in wondering what the hype was all about, I grabbed two cookies and they did not disappoint. I highly advise anybody that has a sweet tooth patronize her business.
