Some friends and I met here for dinner last night. I was super excited to try this place as I have never been but I've heard good things. Our food was delicious but our service was lacking. I think our waitress was pulling double duty so it's no fault of hers, she just had a lot on her plate. She was nice but very busy so it took a long time for her to visit us. We had the arancini for appetizer, which was tasty and we split a pizza. We got the Michelangelo pizza and it was delicious! Title: A Disheartening Visit to Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen My excursion to Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen a couple weeks ago left me grappling with a range of disappointments that compelled me to share my experience. While the restaurant had its redeeming qualities, there were undeniable aspects that overshadowed the overall enjoyment. Hence, I’ve taken my time in crafting a proper review. The ambiance of Licari's is warm and inviting, creating an initial sense of promise. However, as I delved into the menu, the anticipation turned into a series of numerous letdowns. The calamari, a dish I typically enjoy, was disappointingly undercooked, lacking the authenticity I had hoped for. Service, unfortunately, didn't rise above the average. While some staff members were friendly and attentive, others seemed overwhelmed, resulting in a noticeable inconsistency. For a more enjoyable dining experience, a greater effort towards maintaining a uniform level of service is crucial. The pizza, normally considered a highlight, failed to impress my wife and I. The crust was decent, yet the overall flavor lacked the expected Sicilian authenticity. For a restaurant that boasts about their “original” recipes, it's my sincere hope that Licari's invests more effort into refining its recipes to deliver a more genuine culinary experience. Amidst these culinary letdowns, there is one more concern that would be a shame to leave out of this review. While I’ve never met him myself, I’ve heard rumors from numerous community members that the establishment is owned by an individual of very questionable character. Particularly from parents of teens who have previously worked at the restaurant, management cares very little of their employees and consistently display a lack of empathy and questionable ethics. Because of this, I refuse to let my own children apply to work here. It's disheartening to think that such a bustling restaurant in our city does so little to support it’s members. A restaurant's success is often rooted in the satisfaction of both customers and employees. I encourage Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen to address these concerns, fostering a positive atmosphere that reflects integrity, authenticity, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my visit to Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen left me with mixed feelings. While there are elements that show promise, the need for improvement in food quality, service, and the alleged work environment concerns cannot be overlooked. It's my hope that the management takes these constructive critiques to heart, striving for a more positive and authentic experience for both customers and staff alike. Placed an online order. I must have made a mistake on part of what I thought I ordered. The remaining food was missing items and the spaghetti was dry. My husband went back and the rude female wasn’t helpful and simply stated it’s not her fault that is what we ordered. We have always loved going here but people like her definitely turned our opinions the opposite way. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Service: 1

This place was phenomenal! The bruschetta spinaci salad we got was absolutely amazing! We also ordered the pesto pizza and it was super good too. The chips and the red pepper dip was great as well. I don’t have one bad thing to say about their food. The place is cute, but they could use a little sound absorption but otherwise perfect. Hope to make it back here again! Lacaris looks like a nice fancy restaurant on the outside but once you step inside you’re walking into a small town diner. My wife and I ordered pasta dishes that were mediocre for the price. My dish wasn’t even warm when it was served. The portion sizes were very small. I’m glad we ordered an appetizer before our meal or we both would have left hungry. For a meal that cost us over $100 there are much better places. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Stopped by after passing through hudsonville. Looked up info on their website and saw they had spent time with Bobby flay so I knew it would be awesome. The sauce is amazing!! They have chefs making everything from scratch. Highly recommend!! 1 of the best Italian food I've ever had! Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
Pros: the food was EXCELLENT! We had pastas and sandwiches -all were fantastic. Good flavor profiles and cooked perfectly. Cons: the prices were a bit steep and there were no extras. For example, the pastas range from $16-$20. Pasta does NOT come with bread or salad -just the pasta. You can add garlic bread for $4. Sandwiches were about $16. They were decent size, but the portion was not commensurate with the price. Our waitress was very friendly, but a smidge inattentive. We were only checked on once before leaving and our drinks went dry (it wasn’t busy). The atmosphere was bright, clean, and nicely decorated. The food was good, but we prob will not return for the reasons stated above, specifically the prices/portions. I left hungry and that never happens.
We stopped in for an appetizer & some cocktails. We had never been here before & we were pleasantly surprised! The charcuterie board was amazing & their signature cocktails were on point! This is such a cute place with a fun staff, we will be back & highly recommend Licari's! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
OMW!! The food was amazing!! First, the Campagnia ~ a salad with figs, dried cherries, walnuts, spinach and bacon with gorganzola crumbles. I also had the Pasta Candela... so delicious! Our server was the best! So knowledgeable and sweet. A great experience and OH!!! THE Cannoli!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Definitely worth a stop! Tried the banana martini and strawberry coconut mojito, both tasted good. The mojito was very refreshing. The supremo pizza was delicious! The crust is light and not overly filling. The cheesecake is probably my favorite thing at this restuarant! On top of delicious food, the staff is always friendly and helpful.
