This is the second time we've been to this restaurant in a year as we head to TX to visit family, and both times, we've received tasty food and friendly service. This time we had the catfish basket and the shrimp basket...nice, light breading on the fish and shrimp, great crispy oblong/disk like fries, and a good little container of coleslaw. As we walked in, the door had a sign indicating that they were short on staff, but would do their best to provide good service...and that they did! The owner was the server, and he hustled his buns, taking orders, serving food, and following up on the needs of the customers. If you're in Forest City, stop in and give them a chance...it may take a bit longer to get your food, but it will be worth the wait! I am very disappointed in the service of this restaurant. We have been looking forward to eating here, but would have never thought that we would be waiting for 30+ minutes without any server ever coming to our table. 3 other large partys came in after us, and they were all attended including drinks being brought out before we were even talked to; no one ever came to our table.
