Yikes! The bun for the cheesesteak ( we ordered #1)is smaller and narrower- My husband thought I ordered him the wrong sandwich 🙁 Don’t get me wrong, they were prepared perfectly and so tasty but the buns weren't stuffed to the topper usual and the bun has shrunk🙁 Didn’t feel like we got our $ worth and definitely dint look like the usual-Where’s the nice guy who used to be at the counter? The guy who answers the phone or works the counter seems annoyed and ticked off - Food: 3 Service: 3

This place is definitely not what it used to be. My last couple visits were less than satisfactory to say the least. The sandwiches are very skimpy now. It’s like they use half the meat or less than they used to use. Bun was cold. Wasn’t as tasty as usual. $17 for a sub is not cheap and the price should reflect in the quality and the quantity and it definitely didn’t. The steak and cheese that I always order used to be overflowing with meat. Not anymore. I would suggest they fix all this before they go out of business. I know other people that go there and they’ve said the same thing. Word is spreading real fast and I would suggest they do something about it if they want to regain their loyal customers and not go out of business. I’ve been going here for 15 plus years since the original owner Paul owned it. Never had a bad experience with Paul. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The taste of the food was okay, the amount of steak in the sub was laughable. We had a large order and they forgot one of the items we ordered. Because I liked the taste of my sub, I would go back but I would definitely recommend ordering the sub large or with extra meat. My 2nd time to new location in Hartland just absolutely not good at all my order was wrong both time's and waited a long time with no customer's in the store they were busy filling carry out order's. The food was then desirable 1 sub and 1 fries $21? Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We like Lefty’s, but will go out of our way to avoid this location in the future. Came in at 6pm with my husband and kid and there was only one other customer in the place. The guy behind the grill was complaining non-stop. I’m pretty sure I heard his swearing before anyone in the restaurant even greeted us, so right then we should have just left and not bothered. But nah, my husband ordered (2 subs and a kids meal) and then we hear “why don’t you bend me over and F/-: me” and more expletives. The guy ringing us up made a comment to him about there being a kid upfront, but other than that no one seemed to want to be there and like their jobs were the worst thing on planet earth and they hated any customer who dare walk through the door and make them do more work by ordering food. Weird, the reviews are so good for this place. Must have been a very, very off day. I will never know. We were going to order more food before the punk behind the grill kept running his mouth. To be clear, the person who rang us up seemed fine, albeit miserable. Kinda emo kid style with short black hair. He seemed like he wanted to care, but the grill guy was anchoring down the whole vibe with his garbage attitude. I was like nope, nope, nope don’t give them another cent. Less than impressed with our most recent trip to Lefty’s. We’ve been going to this location for years and this time was so disappointing. The buns are different and smaller, so I wouldn’t waste your money getting the “large”. We were assured that the same amount of meat was being used and it was skimpy in comparison to past cheesesteaks there. The corned beef egg rolls were mostly egg roll wrap and they didn’t put the hot peppers on our cheesesteak as requested. We let them know their fountain machine wasn’t working and was offered a can soda which doesn’t even fill the $2.49 cup. When we asked about it we were given a dollar, which is whatever, but the whole interaction certainly didn’t make it seem like they cared whether or not we returned. Sadly, we’re unlikely to return.
