Very nice atmosphere, and good service. But I did not enjoy my food, and neither did my wife. The baked brie was a greasy blob served with rock hard bread with too much garlic smears on top for a whopping $14! I try French onion soup at a lot of places, and I can’t remember ever having one so bland and unenjoyable. The later of cheese on top was way too thick and the soup was not that flavorful. Our entrees were crab cakes and the sausage stuffed chicken. Both were okay, nothing special. I didn’t even want to eat the leftovers the next day, which I usually love. This was my second visit here, and my wife remembered having a similar impression of the food the first time we ate here. We won’t be back for food. Our drinks were excellent. I would come back for the bar and for the music and views of the lake. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The parking lot was crowded but when we walked in it was a ghost town. There were three people at the front desk and the gentleman who was seated at the host station was very strange with his jokes and greetings. The dining area is huge. We sat down and were greeted by our server Lydia who was very kind. There was music playing through the speakers and then we heard live music that was conflicting with the sound in the dining area. I wish instead of telling jokes the host would have told us there was live music in the back - that would have actually been helpful. We ordered the curly chicken with Thai sauce as an appetizer and it was okay - nothing overly special. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass & seared tuna as our entrees. The tuna was extremely fishy and tough to chew in spots. The roasted veggie Cous Cous was awful and tasted like a package of frozen Birdseye veggies. The bass was decent but the rice that came with it was burnt and without flavor. The best part of our meal was the small Caesar salad. We had a gift card that’s why we came here and I’m not sure I would care to go back even if we had another gift card. It’s a shame because Lydia was lovely and the location is beautiful. Oh well. Loved the building and the lake. Was not fond of the dark corner table in the back of the dining room we were seated at. The server was efficient and polite but unprepared with knowledge of the Valentine's special menu on the table. Meatball appetizer was tasty and the entrees were fresh, hot and flavorful. I had the penne pasta topped with beef short rib and my husband enjoyed the 14 oz. bone in rib eye. The 3 dessert choices were a lot less than what the Valentine's menu offered, which was a choice of about 5 or 6 delicious desserts. I chose the peanut butter bomb, which is basically peanut butter mousse covered with chocolate gonoche. Overall, we were satisfied with our choice for our Valentine's Day dinner and would recommend Lakehouse for a nice meal. Pictured: Pan Seared Tuna w/ Veggies An absolutely amazing place to eat. Love the food and the music (sung in-house by someone akin to Sinatra in voice alone). The dim lighting is welcome (especially after a few bottles of wine). The food was very rich and the Ginger Lemon sauce that came with the Tuna was delicious. This place is truly a 5-star all the way around. The only negative I could give this place would have to be the packed parking lot, but I guess that means they're doing something right. Overall a great experience that I will be coming back for. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pan Seared Tuna

First time back since remodel. Greeting was quite cordial and seated quickly based on reservation. Server was good but could have been more prompt with taking and getting drink orders. Good order taken an questions answered. Food was good and served hot. The view of the lake from the dining room during this holiday season added to the atmosphere of the evening. Worth a drive to enjoy! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pan Seared Tuna
