This restaurant was a real pleasure from the minute that we walked in to peruse the menu and I asked if they had a nice sangria then promptly ended up with the answer in the form of a large sample in a cold glass in my hand. I mean, how do you deny the art of the sale in that? The experience never declined from that high point. We very much enjoyed the skillful table service and the array of dishes that we chose. Nothing too fancy about it; just really good and lovingly prepared food served by grateful staff. Like visiting Greece and Spain all at once... In Arlington Heights. We will be happy to visit La Tasca as often as we can. We ordered about 7 tapas dishes. The only dish that tasted pretty good was octopus. Rest of the dishes were average. The paella was also average. My son, who is 12 years old, can cook a better paella than this restaurant. The worse thing is that the restaurant charges a 3% surcharge if you want to pay by credit card. It is unheard of to charge a surcharge for credit card. I do not recommend this restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Like many of the other reviews, the food is underwhelming. The location and the restaurant itself are very nice and that’s obviously what you’re paying for. Despite reading mixed reviews on the Paella, we still ordered it to give it a try for ourselves and, wow, did it lack so much seasoning and flavor. They should listen to the customers and perfect their recipe. We ended up taking it to-go, and I will be adding the appropriate seasoning to make it enjoyable. If you don’t know authentic Spanish food, you may enjoy this place. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

a delicious tapas experience in Arlington Heights! i tried lots: patatas bravas, beef empanadas, grilled octopus, jamon y queso, etc. but the standout was the Greek style lambchops! 🇬🇷 oh, and don't forget to pair with one of the several delicious sangrias...the pear sangria was tasty! friendly service, lovely crowd, and reasonable prices...definitely check out La Tasca! 🙌🏾 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas
