Specialities include sepia and pescaditos, mejillones and berberechos, as well as a delicious suquet de rape. The bravas are also highly recommended, although they may not quite match up to Bar Tomas in Barcelona! The service is generally good, although there have been some reports of slow service and unfriendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food, with a set menu of 26.90 euros. There is also an aperitivo for two people at 14 euros. Overall, La Mar de Fons is an excellent place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
