My son and I made an impromptu stop for a late lunch and enjoyed it. Service was prompt (they were not crowded), and decor was nice. The food and drink were delicious with a couple of exceptions. My blood orange mezcalita was served in a clay cup and was very tasty. My son ordered a virgin Pina colada and was disappointed with a pink drink. The guacamole was strangely served on a bed of lettuce, which was a little odd. My son had the chicken quesadilla, and I had a Chile Verde special and both were delicious. The waitstaff was less than reassuring with dietary restrictions, the margaritas were watered down, and the portions were average. Convenient location, ample seating, good enough but not great. Was unsure of what to expect based on some of the reviews, but was honestly impressed. Food was tasty and flavorful, guacamole was freshly made and the portions were large.
