Friendly staff, super good pizza :) We were so happy they still let us in 25mins begore kitchen closed because nothing else was open/receiving guests, then we were surprised by the food. Bruschetta was good, pizza margherita and pizza pepperoni were amazing. Would def come back. Atmosphere is cozy, would recommend booking a reservation on busy days. I had a great first experience at La Famiglia for lunch - food was great and the service was accommodating. I decided to return for dinner the following evening and it was the worst service experience I’ve had in ages. I quietly asked the waitress for the bill and she very dramatically explained that she was too busy to bring it to me - it was quite embarrassing, considering I wasn’t rushing her or being demanding - I just said I’m ready for the bill. Super friendly staff here. Ate here a couple of times during our short stay in Tromsø as the first visit was so good. Reasonable prices for the area too. The pasta dishes were full of flavour and cooked perfectly whilst the pizza was fresh, made and, again, very tasty. A recommended fuel stop for anyone in the Tromsø area. It is a nice Italian place in Tromso. I was not expecting great Italian food so far up north, but this restaurant surprised me. The kitchen stays open till 10. And we reached half an hour before that. Still they took our orders of pizza and a bruschetta. Pizza margherita was very nice and Bruschetta was also great. The only point negative would be that tomatoes on bruschetta were not super sweet and juicy, but hey we are in arctic circle. It is difficult to get tomatoes. The service is fast and polite. That’s totally crazy and unacceptable!!! We have been sitting here for 30 minutes and I have been asking the staff for taking our orders for twice, and they still didn’t come to our table!! And after 30 minutes, they finally took our order! Then, we asked for tap water and we waited for more than 40 minutes again for a bloody tap water to come. I just wanna how hard is that ? And we sat there for more than 1.5 hours without any services and food. They are just literally lack of staff and if you don’t wanna waste your pleasure time, just don’t come! And then there was another table came after we have sat here for an hour, and they got a bottle of tap water right after they have ordered. Also, they have at least 3 different staff to serve them, is it because they are local and we are non-local, so we didn’t receive equal service? I just wanna know, is this differential treatment to non-local? But the food is fine and taste quite good actually! And today is Christmas Day, and my mood just being destroyed after their worse service. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The atmosphere, venue and staff were top 😊 we liked the food, specially the risotto ! We think this restaurant is definitely a good place to go for traditional Italian food (pasta, risotto,pizza..) rather than other types of dishes they offer. We ordered the lamb and we were a bit dissipated, the meat was chewy, and the meal in total did not impress us so much. On the other hand, as mentioned, the risotto was delirious and the vine as well. Finally we ordered tiramisu, which was just ok. We missed the chocolate cream mentioned in the menu and also fresh berries 🤷‍♀️. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I ordered pizza with pepperoni. The pizza was so delicious. It was exactly like the Italian pizza, no difference. I asked the waitresses if I can have the pizza with fresh basil on top, and the restaurant just made it with love. I ordered as well Macchiato. It was a dream. I really felt like I'm in Italy. The staff is friendly, helpful and social. The service was so good. The restaurant atmosphere was cozy, well organized with nice decoration. The restaurant is suitable for family, couples, and singles too. Overall, it was an amazing idea to have lunch there. Really love it. Grazie mille di cuore. Ti ringrazio. Bit mixed feelings - good location downtown and looks like a tourist trap catering for the Italian crowd and tourists who want to go for something Italian. Otherwise nice interior design and good service. Menue sound promising but to be fair the starters (caprese salad and Vitello tonnato who are Italian classics did not convince us) … main course was better after. So somewhere in the four star range … probably they need to get more reviews over time to get more clarity
