First time trying this place out. Really worth the try! Especially since theres not many latin cuisines in my area. Just a 12 min drive from me. The food is DELICIOUS! I'd recommend abd I will be back for sure!!!

I went here for the first time today for a surprise military luncheon (party of 13) and what a great choice and an awesome experience. The staff (Dominque- owner, Annie, and Jayla) were all very welcoming, personable, and professional.
The place is small but clean and cozy, it has four tables enough to seat 4-5 people per table if you choose to eat in.
The food did not disappoint either, there wasn't an unhappy person in the group. The dishes of choice were: Beef, Chicken, Steak Guava and Crab Pastelillos, Bistec Encebollado, Camarones En Salsa Roja, Pollo Guisado and Pastelito de Guayba (just a heavenly ending), each person had their own meals. We dined in and bought food to go as well.
Im looking forward to go back and take my family to try.

Chicken Pastelillo
This place is amazing!!! The food is authentic and straight out of grandma's kitchen!!! Made to order on some items to preserve the freshness, and the customer service was top notch!! The owners are onsite and the service is outstanding. I can not believe I have found the perfect restaurant that reminds me of my homeland!! I recommend it 100% and I will continue to be a repeat customer after the first yummy experience! Enjoy!

We ordered a few things for a holiday party.. everyone raved about the empanadas and the desserts we got were a variety of the shooters!! They were amazing! Communication was quick and helpful from the start and the food was absolutely delicious!! We can’t wait to order again !!!! Thank you !

I would truly like to give this place a much higher rating but until they are open more frequently, don't run out of food, and provide MUCH bigger portions (especially considering the prices)...I just can't. I've eaten at nearly EVERY Puerto Rican Restaurant throughout the state and in PA. While one in PA stands alone above the rest, La Bohemia has potential to be very good if they make the proper adjustments. The empandas and relleno de papa need significant changes to compete. The food is good but we just wish it was available to eat more often and during "all" diner hours. This is constructive criticism...not meant to blast the place. It's worth a try and we are glad to have it located locally.

I ordered the Bistec Encebollado and it was quite tasty. I do wish there was a bit more meat and onions relative to the amount of rice I received but would order again. Food was ready for pickup quickly too.

This place is probably the best spot I could find in south jersey that offers quality Hispanic food at a great price. It's so clean and welcoming here. The customer service is amazing the environment is refreshing and my experience was exceptional. Thank you La Bohemia for your hard work and customer care. Everybody I swear don't walk, run to get some food here!

The restaurant is very inviting. It is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was empty when I visited.
We ordered plantains, pork with rice and beans, chicken pastelillo and a potato ball.
You can see from the pic the platter portion was small. The flavor was okay. I didn't taste that Latin flavor I expected.
*Pastelillo/ empanadas are my favorite. The pastelillo was disappointing...very dry! Maybe it was old. They have some fried items ready in a hot case.
* The potato ball was good. Crispy and not too salty.
* The plantains were average.
* The pork platter lacked seasoning. Thank goodness for the beans and sauce. It added flavor. The pork was moist and cooked well.

This restaurant felt like I was visiting a friend. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I am from Puerto Rico and I felt like I was in PR. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend. Everyone needs to try it!
