Very nice wooden location, with nice landscape surrounding. The place had a great pseudo-historical atmosphere, with many lovely details. The food and service were excellent, though a bit pricey too. Recommendation! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food, great service. Two thumbs up BIG TIME! Recommended 100% After over a decade working in best country clubs in the states I can honestly say they are the best in Latvia from what I’ve tried so far. Not overpriced, portions are good size, each and every dish was very delicious. We will be back soon. Thank you, Kungu Rija!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30

If you are hiking around castles and caves, you really should stop here. Amazing latvian family restaurant, builded traditionaly by the owners. Great country style, natural bio wood all around. Fantastic dishes; creatives, perfectly well cooked and good price and quality. Good service. Super big parking and a small lake views. Maybe jazz music too loud, but ei! It’s jazz! So we forget it. Awesome food, awesome service! They managed to feed us at the highest level although there was no electricity few moments after order was made. Staff is super nice and very polite! Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15

To have opened doors for you tells a lot about what level restaurant you’re about to enter. All courses were delicious and garnished in spectacular fashion. The restaurant is on the side of the road near Turaida. The menu is traditional and has several attractive dishes. The atmosphere is nice. The service is good. The food was ok. However, they did not have several ingredients and the portions are mid. The rabbit leg was overpriced at 26 euros.

Very nice food! Excellent service. A nice man who served us was very polite, wearing neat white shirt, speaking fluently 3 languages. Atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. Even though a tourist group arrived few min before us , we were seated in a separate hall with quiet and peace. Highly recommended. Food: duck breast and deer Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Found this restaurant on google map. The food were gorgeous and delicious! And it’s not expensive! The service was also great. It’s quite a good and cool experience 🥹✨and highly recommended to everyone ~
