Went with my baby girl and it was her first time. She loved every thing we ordered. Clam chowder and sourdough bread, lobster roll sushi and calamari = exceptional 👌 Service was lightning fast. We were in the mood for seafood and this place was so disappointing. The service was good for the most part and it was a nice atmosphere. The food is what let us down which was shocking because of how expensive everything was. We tried the octopus and clams and andouille sausage dishes as appetizers. These were actually not bad. The clams were the best. Then we had salmon, Chilean sea bass, cioppino, seafood pasta, and sirloin. The only dish that had flavor was the sea bass. It was well cooked (a little under for me) and well seasoned in a miso sauce. The salmon didn't taste and smell fresh. For the price, it should have been wild caught. The salmon came with a scallop ceviche which was fine but needed acidity. The sirloin had no flavor. The biggest disappointment was the cioppino. It was lackluster and didn't have any salt. The server provided gloves and a bib on the table that was wrapped up but didn't bother telling me so I didn't eat the shrimp and crab legs, which ended up being a blessing in disguise. I took that home, and my husband ate it the next day and was immediately sick in the bathroom. So we basically paid a lot of money for food poisoning. The only highlight of the evening was dessert. The butter cake was so delicious. The bread pudding was one of the best I've had. The creme brulee was just okay. All the desserts were actually large portions. I was craving seafood since I was visiting from a state far from the ocean. This place was exactly what I needed. Lots of well prepared seafood options and great atmosphere. I loved that the kids menu had salmon as an option vs only the normal “kid” food. It also had special kids temporary tattoos and above average kids coloring options. Sooo good! Service was great, we had a tall gentleman who gave great recommendations and was very knowledgable. My husband isn’t a seafood guy and he loved every second of it! We had the octopus, 1/2 dozen oysters, beer-battered fish and chips & we also got the lobster roll sandwich and it all was so good!! (Wish the lobster wasn’t cold) but overall wonderful! 10/10!
