A small town chinese buffet that tries really hard but still feels like they are missing something. Service is great, but the food needs some help. The sushi needs something more to help it pop, it all tastes the same. The Mongolian grill is cool, it's all right. My biggest complaint is the food always seems a little too cool, just not hot enough. I wish it was just a couple of degrees warmer, especially with winter coming. The servers are very nice. I normally love Chinese buffets. Like other reviewers have stated, this one leaves a lot to be desired. Some food was good, and other standard staples were bad. Soups, honey chicken, fried chicken (skewers and wings) and pork egg roll were good. Spring Rolls were undercooked with cold soggy center. Pot stickers were dried out, cool and served with dumpling sauce that was very cold (straight out of fridge). General Tsaos & Orange Chicken - the staple main entree of all Chinese buffets were both soggy from the runny sauce - I couldn’t eat it. Beef & Broccoli (another mainstay) had very tough beef. Seems like they used a very cheap cut of meat and failed to tenderize it enough. Ribs were Texas style with TX BBQ sauce, not Chinese Char Su style, and were VERY fatty - so that was kind of gross & a mismatch for the restaurant. I was there for Saturday lunch buffet and employees kids were running (not walking) around like the whole restaurant was a playground. They need to fix a lot of things to make this measure up to the average Chinese buffet, thus making it quite sub-par for Chinese buffets. I will not be returning. Panda Express is a much better alternative. The owner would be well served to go visit other Chinese buffets in Plano or Dallas to see just how this one can be improved. Our family of 7 +1 visited this site. Most of the food was good. The boiled shrimp was a bit too done. The ribs were awesome! Their garlic shrimp was excellent! The room can accommodate any size crowd. The service was great! Previously, the service was sub-par. So glad to see the change for the better. Well now….. Since, moving to Texas. As far as , I’m concerned. This place is a “10”. The food is “Fantastic and so is the staff”. We eat there on a regular basis… By the way, we “always” get takeout, while dining in to take home. So, with out take out. It’s not $70.00. Let me be clear. The food is delicious and “always fresh”. The only food that was hot were the soups. Everything else was cold and barely edible. We chose King Buffet from the reviews on Trip Advisor and this will be the last time I believe anyone who reviews restaurants on Trip Advisor, I feel like I could have eaten the $40 bill and it would have been better than the cold food we got. Out waitress was so awesome. I told her i was hot, and she move us to a table with a fan, she also gave our fussy 2 year old a little balloon. If you're just going for sushi absolutely do not go there the sushi was awful. We went on Seafood night the salt and pepper shrimp head and tail on completely drowned in oil could not taste anything other than oil and the shrimp meat was mush. Out of the huge food selection I only found three things that I thought were worth eating. The catfish was wonderful, fried scallops and the mushrooms. The bathrooms are very dark and creepy. We will never be going there again.

What a nice surprise. Fresh cooked, healthy and tasty Chinese dishes. No its not Peking Duck! But you get a great meal at a super price. Did i mention the staff is friendly as well! Enjoy Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
