In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Garibaldi Museum, stop by this bar. Kelley's Place offers you perfectly cooked mussels, clam chowder and fish & chips. Can’t tell you how the food was but they apparently don’t allow kids. I didn’t see anything online about that so we drove down here hoping for a good lunch on a rainy day and was hollered at by the man behind the counter. Apparently this place is more bar than restaurant so heads up!

Great place!!! A little hard to find, but well worth it! The food is excellent and everyone is super friendly. The fish sandwich is outstanding. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! I called and ordered a hamburger with everything on it and fries to go and it was 1350 and there was a sign that said you must check your order before you leave the premises. My husband & I went for dinner and a drink. The friendly waitress immediately greeted us and got our drink order. She brought our drinks and took our food order. My husband had the prime rib, garlic toast, salad, and loaded baked potato. I ordered the clam chowder bowl w garlic toast and loaded potato after seeing my husband's lol. Our food came quickly. It was fresh, hot and tasted great! We are locals, and this is the best place for prime rib and at a fantastic price!!! I think the clam chowder is the best around!!! And Taco Tuesdays are pretty yummy too!!! We really love stopping by for an ice-cold beer in the summertime while sitting out in the back patio area overlooking the bay. Great mom and pop kinda dive bar. Wii bowling tournaments and plenty of fishing stories to be had here. If your into that small town ,everyone knows everyone, friendly, rustic and Quant vibe this is the place for you! Highly recommend that if your on the oregon coast and want a stiff drink,great food and a great atmosphere you stop in.
