I love what this place brings to a small town. It provides community great opportunities to be in the present with others. The meals at 1st glance can be view with eyes bigger than stomach decisions. Considering not typical overloading options. Just the right anount of sweet and savory. Portioned efficiently not to leave you unable to move from your seat. The employees are wonderful with customer service. Over all I love the courage this place literally brings to the table. I've been frequenting this cafe now since they've opened at this new location. Everytime I am greeted with a smile! The staff are among the kindest i've ever been around. They remember your name, recommend things to try and what to pair with the different items! It really takes the experience over the top! Paired with the atmosphere this cafe is beyond worth a visit and I will continue to recommend it to everyone that asks me where to eat! Quaint atmosphere, complete with a library and a fireplace room. Delicious homemade desserts with specialty tea and coffee drinks available. Cafe style lunch menu is also available during lunch hours starting at 10:00 a.m. The only reason this is a four-star rating is because they completely forgot my husband's order. However, when asked about it, they did make it rather quickly and discounted it by 50%. The establishment is relatively new. We will check back again. My daughter and I visited for the first time today. We walked in at 11:08, waiting for a few minutes to place our order. Four bagels with cream cheese and a cake pop to go. We walked out of the shop at 11:50 after I said something because I was going to be late to pick my son up. There is no reason what so ever I should have to wait forty minutes for four bagels that I never got my cream cheese on. We may or may not try it again. Kaysi Cakes Dessert Company is an incredible place located in the heart of downtown DuBois. The space has been designed with intentionality and passion. And the desserts... incredible. The chocolate chips cookies are made to perfection. The cupcakes are exquisite. Hot Chocolate is so good. And coffee...perfectly pulled espresso shot. Can’t say enough good things about Kaysi Cakes Dessert Company. Once you try it once, you will keep going back!
