I had their Fireman's special. It's a lot of food, that's the only downside. Be prepared to take some to go (no food waste!). Also, during my meal these two old men came in with an accordion and guitar and reminded me that life is beautiful. Wonderful experience and cozy, Mexican atmosphere. Polite service with good sized portions. I had migas con juevos a la Mexicana. They were good, but a little dry. I should have asked for more salsa [very good]. I had flour tortillas that were good. This establishment is wonderful. The restaurant is inside the beautiful historic Villa de Cortez in Weslaco. The food is excellent, and the servers are personable and quick to take your order. The atmosphere is reminiscing of its historic host, The Villa de Cortez Hotel.
