Some of the best brisket and BBQ I have ever had! And a good view of the bay.

We went here with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and it was a perfect scene. There was a bag tournament and live music, and enough people to enjoy the scene but not too crowded to make it fun. The food was mouth-watering and difficult to put down once you started. Most fun experience out for dinner while in USVI! Strongly recommend! While you are there, get yourself a t-shirt or Johnny Lime mug.

Johnny Lime is a terrific spot for lunch (only on Mondays, when Skinny Legs is closed) or dinner on other evenings (they open at 3:00 p.m.). Located right on Coral Bay, it has a giant smoker and offers up a delicious menu of BBQ and delicious vegetable sides. They have draft beer on tap, which is served in a thermos tumbler, so it stays cold throughout your meal (nice touch!). Their cornbread is a real winner. Most of the seating is at picnic tables under a tent, and there is ample parking. Also, free WiFi!

My husband loves a dry rub BBq and we ended up here three times in the week we were on St. John. They keep the operations simple. Five or six smoked meats and a host of sides to add to the menu. Most sides have an upcharge. There are also sandwiches that serve as lighter fare. And a usually one desert - It was a cardamom cinnamon roll while we were there. . We tried the brisket, pork ribs, and half chicken and liked all. Finally, they make cocktails o. The spot.
We tried Johnny Lime's three times. Two were excellent, the third where our meal took over an hour indicates they still have a lot to.work out. All of it was tasty and well worth it. For unique items get the smoke pumpkin and grilled okra. Mac and cheese is great. Skip the local greens as they are nothing fancy.
Their danger margarita with watermelon is the best I have had.

We were staying on the Coral Bay side of St John and ended up eating dinner here 3 times during the week, convenient and really delicious! You can smell the smoker from the road, that's what initially drew us in. We had smoked pork ribs, smoked pumpkin, rice & beans, bok choy, mac & cheese, and best of all: smoked lobster on our last night! All of the food was AMAZING (you'll wait a long time for lobster, but absolutely worth it!), as were the staff, drinks, and local IPA! A surprising find for us, we'll go back next trip!

Delicious bbq. Such a great addition to the island’s dining scene. The ribs are incredible, as is the brisket. Love the yucca fries as a side. Some of my favorite cocktails on the island.
Absolutely worth the drive to coral bay for a meal or two here.
