We decided to be those people that go out without a reservation on Valentine's Day. I am uncertain if they take reservations anyway. Our server was fantastic. Even though I made a mess. She was on top of her game. The bartender, a nice guy, seemed to be a little overwhelmed. Someone decided to jump the wait list by bellying up to the bar. The bartender addressed them before me and took their dinner order. There were two groups in front of us when the "jumpers" asserted their dominance. My wife and I were actually planning on going to those open seats at the bar to wait for our table. Oh well. The food is fantastic and priced very fairly. So much lobster on the menu. We love that. They were busier than normal, but besides a stressed vibe from some of the staff it was a great dinner. The kitchen knocked the food out quickly and it was amazingly delicious. The runner was super chill and Kool. I would recommend this establishment time and time again. Great food, drinks and service. My wife and I were asking each other why we don't go here more. Hadn't been to the yardarm for quite a long time. I have to say that I really enjoyed my time there. Larry, the bartender was very personable. I got wonderful service. Attentive but not pushy. My burger was absolutely delicious and the sand dollars are just as I remember them. Absolutely fantastic! Updated Review - 12/13/23: We couldn’t decide where to eat. We both said Joey’s Yardarm… and were are happy we did. I got my usual, the Walleye Dinner and fries. It was incredible! There is no way you can say it is not enough food. My wife got the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. To top it off we both got a slice of Key Lime pie. Mmmm!! Always delicious! We love Joey’s Yardarm! —————————- Updated Review - 12/19/22: Joey’s Yardarm always has delicious food! We have never been disappointed. It is always fresh and hot. I love all of their fish dinners…. and my wife loves the Mushroom Swiss Burger. The Ceviche is great! And don’t forget the desserts! Apple Cobbler and Key Lime Pie! Mmmm!!! I had a great time at the restaurant! The drinks were great, the staff kept it lite but fun and the food was a deep fried dream 😋 👌🏾 We had from fried oysters to fried chicken wings and all of it was great.
