This casino building presents a striking view from the highway, located on a lofty perch which should offer outstanding views from the top floor. So my wife and I drove in to check it out.
The good news is that ALL the staff was remarkably polite, pleasant, and helpful -- more so than in any other casino we've visited in SD County or Las Vegas.
The parking area and the casino itself were spotless, well ventilated, and well designed.
The first negative thing we noticed was a shortage of handicap spots near the elevator. That alone would be a deal breaker for us, but we went in anyway (after a long walk) because I wanted to see the view from the top floor.
The top floor is a giant casino, and there is no view whatsoever available anywhere. What a wasted resource! If you want a view, you must patronize one of two restaurants (probably by design), both of which were closed. Deal breaker #2.
My wife signed up for a players card to get the $10 free play. Unfortunately, that is not available on her favorite machines. The third disappointment.
Unlike Vegas, there are no complimentary drinks for players. Disappointed again.
Lastly, the machines didn't come up a winner even once -- the tightest machines we've ever encountered.
Sorry, we won't be back. Judging by the paucity of patrons, we weren't the only ones who felt that way.
This casino has great potential, too bad the MBAs squandered it.
My legs were in soft castes I was refused entrance by the casino personal . I was able to walk climb stairs do every thing any healthy person can do . In my oponion I was discriminated by this casino when we left we went to Sycuane casino I was welcomed in and Baronia casino also welcomed me in the same day. I will never let this place off the hook for this one .
