We went to Jacks beef at the new food truck park in Ames today. My friend and I both got the brisket loaded potato. We had a horrible customer service experience from them while ordering. When we went home to eat we opened the food packages and it smelt like puke. My friend and I still took one bite from my box of food and did not like it. It was sloppy, covered in sour cream, canned salsa, and artificial nacho cheese. The Coleslaw on the side wasn’t even seasoned with salt or pepper. We felt bad because we didn’t want to eat this food we spent $20 on. So we went back to Jacks at the food truck park and told the man we were sorry but we only took one bite out of the two meals we got and didn’t like it. He gave us a dirty look and said “okay? And?”. I just replied we are returning this and telling you we didn’t eat it and we don’t like it. He never offered a refund or to make us something else. He didn’t even apologize for our bad experience. We walked away after his empty response. Would never recommend anyone to go there. Horrible food. Horrible service. Typical Iowan tasteless, no passion, horrible food.
