Somebody needs to update this. I’m sitting here in front of Chows and no one is here. They’ve closed down. If anyone knows where they went, please advise.
I went their to ask for salad and had questions regarding it,because salads mostly have some protein in it and I am vegan. But the person their responded with so much rudeness that I left without ordering anything! Service: 1

Love J Chows. It’s the healthiest option at the food court. The salads are always fresh with tender chicken. Love supporting a local business. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes California Chicken Salad

When you think back in time, there are a few moments when you can confidently say, "I wish I did that sooner." Good news. Here's your golden nugget of the day. There are people who dedicate their life to a craft to the point where it's bigger than them; the likes of Michael Jordan, geniuses such as Bob Ross, and yes, eats you didn't know was possible from a food court, J. Chow's. Their famous California Chicken Salad is nothing like you've had before. You taste the intricate layers of flavor and textures. You may not be ready for something to handle this level of yum, but it's what your tastes buds have been craving. Ask for the "combo" if you want succulent bbq ribs with fork tender chicken. The baked potato is unlawfully good. As good as it gets this side of Idaho. These are two mainstays that will keep you coming back. Pro Tip: Good food does take a bit of time, so be prepared to wait a couple minutes longer than you're used to. Fine dining at food court prices? Yes, please. I ordered a chocolate cake because I thought why not support an old man and his business, but that cake was so stale and tasted. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

Tender juicy ribs. Nice bbq sauce. Owners were really nice. i ate the ribs before i had a chance to photograph them. Reasonable prices. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Best food place in the mall food court. Hearty, tasty, affordable, and healthy. The guy behind the counter, who I presume is J. Chow, goes out of his way to be kind and friendly to customers. Feels like going to your grandpa's house, if your grandpa is good at cooking. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I have LOVED their chicken salads for YEARS! I grew up in Bethesda and loved going to White Flint mall ONLY to visit J. Chows. I now live in Texas and when my Mom told me White Flint was torn down, I said “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHICKEN SALADS!?” I am currently in town and heading to Westfield right NOW to get a chicken salad because I am SO excited they’ve moved and are still making THE most absolutely best chicken salads I have ever had in my entire life! Thank Goodness for Google, J Chows and their chicken salads.

My family and I have been going to J.chows for years. We used to go to them when they were at White Flint. They have always had the most amazing food; chicken salads in particular. Never ever have we been disappointed and they always provide the best service. Absolutely love them!
This place is garbage....I ordered a special of the day platter with fried potatoes wedges. The cashier told me to have a seat, food would be ready in five minutes. Thirty minutes later, I get a sandwich that is lukewarm mingled with cold spots. It was as if it was it did not get warmed thoroughly in a microwave. Yeah, I gave that right back, didn't even take a bite. Nearly An hour after I ordered I went back to the counter to get the wedges I anticipated, only to be told the fry machine was down. Why would you have me keep coming up to the register for a product you are not able to supply? That machine been down. I have spent nearly an hour waiting for a quality sand which and wedges. Ridiculous. Horrible communication, pitiful substitution options (I tried to substitute the wedges for a dessert after waiting for almost an hour but they only wanted give me a baked potato), and poor management just killed what could have been a good first and only impression.
