We made a reservation 4 months in advance on RESY. The reservation was confirmed on the app, via phone and email. However when our party of 6 showed up for dinner Il Villaggio Osteria did not have a table for us and the restaurant was hosting a private event. Apparently they switched from Resy to Open Table but did not transfer the existing reservations to the new system. The manager was nice is trying to explain the problem. Reserve wisely! Opt for the restaurant area, not the bustling bar space where multitasking staff can affect your dining experience. While the food portions are acceptable, be prepared for a potential wait, and the timing of service might be a bit off. We were visiting Teton Village in the shoulder season. As a result, we had a very difficult time finding food options. We were looking for a to-go sandwich to bring on our hike, but we were looking to purchase them early in the morning before setting off. After being turned away by several other places, Osteria could not have been more accommodating. They whipped us up a gourmet grilled cheese that was delicious as well as a side of fries in a to go box. The employee that helped me (possibly the owner?) was very friendly and gave me great local tips. Thank you!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
