Great place to grab a beer and some food after a mountain hike. We made the mistake of trying to eat here on a busy weekend and they said the wait for a table would be able two hours. We were determined to try them out however and came back the following day. Long story short if it's not too busy you'll love it! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped in for a burger, fries, and a beer. This is a must stop when in the area. Nice covered and heated patio area. Beautiful drive up from Desert Hot Springs. Nice little town to walk around and explore. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a pleasant surprise! A vibrant pub located in this small town. Food was great! If you want to order an appetizer to share, consider ordering a dozen of wings. They are pretty darn good. Burgers were good. My fried chicken sandwich was a little bland and I had to order a side of sauce and pour over my chicken. Otherwise, great selection of beers. ***Long wait time during high season. Did take out from here. Their website doesn't allow online ordering and they don't post a current menu so we had to dig around in Google photos to figure out what we wanted. But their menu has changed a lot over the years. I've posted the latest (smaller) menu. Some items our group wanted are no longer available like the brussel sprouts and ahi tuna salad. That being said the food was decent. I had three chili and buffalo cauliflower. The chili was just ok but the cauliflower was great! Others really like the fish and chips while the salads and pulled pork were ok. The ambience was nice for a brew pub with great outdoor seating where you can watch the dramatic sunsets. Service for our takeout was reasonably fast. And the beers hadb while waiting for the food were denied. One of the better spots we've found in idyllwild so far. We ordered the wings, fries and cauliflower. It was tasty. Got the Bob Lager and it was crisp and refreshing. Our friends got the Idlywild IPA and they enjoyed it. Only bummer was I wanted to get a t shirt as a memorabilia for my teenage son and they didn't have any size other than S. I did get a coffee cup though. I would have liked if they had glasses and not just the giant beer mug . Overall I'd go back. This is my second time at the brewpub. The first time was great, but several years ago. This time seemed like a comedy of errors from the service staff. The place was packed, so I'm trying to be understanding, but... One person's plate didn't arrive until everyone else was almost finished. To make matters worse, the burger arrived overcooked and with the wrong fries. To their credit, they comped the plate and brought the correct order. The food was delicious and the beer tasty, so no complaints there. When they brought the bill, we were charged extra for my taster, despite that beer not having an asterisk next to it on the menu telling us it would have an upcharge. When I brought this up to the server, her response was: 'I don't know, I didn't make the menu.' If handled properly, I'd have given 5 stars, but it was a very unprofessional response.
