I was able to walk right up to the team player at the register and get checked out while there were 5 or 6 people waiting for self check out... I like people (team players) to still have a job🦋 thank you Update as 6/3/22 Today self check out was open and the team players all had several customers waiting so I used the self check out, easy to do. Make sure you use your Hy-Vee card to score rewards for cents off your gas. Hy-Vee is wheelchair friendly as in there is plenty of wheelchair parking and easy to get in the store and the aisles are nice and wide. There is parking spots for the Seniors as well. You can also get a Caribou Coffee there! Also there is a Saint Luke's Convenience Care.
Go to a different grocery store! Customer service here is awful…I have called to ask about a birthday cake I wanted to order, and I was greeted on the phone with “Wait” and then the associate disconnected the call. If I am in store and I have a question, associates here make me feel like I am bothering them…I have completely stopped asking for assistance at this location because of it. Food items are often expired or busted. A lot of moldy items as well, it’s been several occasions where I have seen mold on products. Tonight was the night that made me never want to shop at this location again. Me and my children were shopping, and this person what I am assuming to be an associate (because he was stocking and picking up boxes) was recording us on his phone. I immediately go to say something and he darts. I go to an associate and mention it, and he says I would need to speak to the manager. I speak to the manager and her response is, “I don’t know who it could have been? Well we are getting busy now, there’s not much I can do.” Are you kidding?? This presumed associate now has a video of me and my children in his phone. Recording children isn’t an concern?? She had absolutely zero empathy. I am extremely uncomfortable with this location and the experiences I have every time I go. I am no longer a Hyvee customer.
nice store, clean, produce was fresh and looked good. only downside was it was the weekend and the check out lines were long. maybe they have a hard time finding help but there were only a few cashiers working. why have 10 lanes if only 3 are open. hyvee charges premium prices and should come with better customer service
I had excellent customer service. Karen (maybe it was Karin) was putting things away when she could see I was looking for something. She asked then looked up the product on her phone. It was on the other side of the store. I was going to walk over there and figure things out but she walked and chatted with me. I felt I was talking to a friend. Honestly, had she not walked over and pointed it out I probably would have missed it. She went out of her way and I’m super grateful.
Place is never not busy these days. They are getting better about knowing this. It has been less frequent for them to be out of things. Variety has always been good. As has quality. Highly recommend their unique donuts.

Somebody give Alejandro (I hope I am spelling this correctly! 🥺) a raise! This kindhearted man went and got me and my friend fresh dates AND jalapeño peppers… simply because it was late in the evening and they weren’t as fresh as they might be coming out of the box in the morning. He didnt complain once about being interrupted from his work and was so genuinely sweet! The best service I’ve had at a grocery store! Alejandro—you are the best!!!!!

I am handicapped, and the electric carts are important to me. I find myself frequently avoiding this particular store, because they are so old and decrepit. Please get some decent ones. This just gets worse. The cashier is high and there are no shopping carts. Note that it is early afternoon.

Usually love this store. Spend several hundred dollars a month there. But today while eating lunch I was confronted by Mark the security guard and although I didn't get the assistant manager name with supposed other customers complaint about me be loud and aggressive in the bar from over a week ago. I usually have 3-4 drinks about 3 times a week there. I usually only talk with other regular bar patrons and while we might get occasionally loud in a joking way with other I never recall having problems with any other bar customers. I was told I was limited to a two drink max from now on and they found it necessary to repeat that to me several times. I heard them the first time.. I also know other regular bar patrons have more drinks than me and also can get a bit loud. I will adhere to their request but I might be seeking legal counsel for slander and defamation of character since they failed to show me proof of the alleged act against the complaining customer. I've been going to that Hy-Vee bar for 5 years and never had a situation like this before. I'm not very happy with what happened today.
Top Notch! Just check out the pictures and you’ll see! THE PHARMACY IS EXCELLENT! THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND PATIENT WITH EVERYONE. The store is always well stocked, and the hot food, especially the Chinese is great. They have a restaurant attached, but the bar inside is where I go. The produce is always fresh, and the floral department always has a great selection. Plus, they have a great section of sports attire, koozies, and all else you need in front of the registers. SHOUT OUT TO ARIEL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. She is one of the best, and that’s coming from someone who used to be a manager at a grocery store.
Always clean and well organized. Large selection in general. I especially appreciate the healthy and plant-based selection. Seems to be one of the larger ones in town, and I notice new products emerging every week. I do feel they could use a bit larger selection in terms of green, leafy, fresh vegetables such as baby, kale, baby, spinach, arugula, etc. In addition, It clearly serves consumers best to display per unit pricing so that comparisons are easy, but I don’t see that at this Hy-Vee unfortunately. Keep up the good healthfood work, Hy-Vee. You put a smile in my aisle.
