Caring Staff. Food prepared with love and creativity. Quality ingredients. They give you pure maple syrup instead of fake corn syrup. Shrimp and grits on point. Blueberry burger was a nice spin. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever tasted. Portobello mushroom omelet was the bomb. Chicken and waffles are made right…tell them to fry the chicken hard. Do Yourself a Favor and Go today!! *It’s small on the inside. Tables may be closer together than what you prefer so prepare yourself to be in other people’s faces…The food will make it worth it! My family and I love a good brunch spot. We were excited to see this location opening closer to our home. It didn’t disappoint at all. The strawberry cream cheese French toast and the chicken & waffles were flavorful and filling. The owner even made sure to work the room and was kind enough to treat us to something extra as a nice gesture. We will be regulars here going forward. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So excited to have a closer Hudson Cafe! We sat at the bar because all sit down tables must have been reserved (several were empty and we were told a thirty minute wait), but our bartender was amazing! Our food came out super fast, and was great! Ordered the eggs benedict, and as eggs benny lovers understand, the key is the runny egg. This was a perfect egg, and great hollandaise. Triple omelet was very fluffy, which was wonderful, but it was browned. The side of potatoes were crispy and the buttermilk pancake good. Service at the counter was somewhat attentive. $5 latte wasn’t served hot enough. Enough food to feed two people and breakfast cost $22.79 before tip. I have always gone to the Hudson Cafe downtown, but the Troy location did not disappoint. The service was EXCELLENT. Kassie was super attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
