Special was chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, and corn. Was actually chicken broth with egg noodles cooked in it with a piece of fried chicken torn up and thrown in the top if the bowl. Corn was canned corn poured in a bowl and heated, no salt, no pepper, no butter, just directly from the can. I rarely complain, but this is the most pathetic meal I have ever been served. At today's prices, I expect better Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Went back after a four year hiatus . Service was ok but the food was not very good at all . Before we even took a bite a long hair was in the beef Manhattan (we didn't order the hair), the green beans were cold and the sandwich and fries were luke warm at best . Children back in the service area . I certainly hope the new management steps up and improves the quality or else Hoveys will not be in business much longer . They can't live on their past reputation forever . I don't like to post negativity but hopefully this will help correct the problems . We will not return for a long time again . Edit ..... I will never set foot in this establishment since they have started selling alcohol !! Once it was a family go to place when owned by the Hovey family, it is now just a greasy spoon with high prices and hair in the beef Manhattan . Such a shame...... Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
