Try a crab cake... it was surprisingly very good! We randomly were in the Sunbury area and decided to stop for a late night dinner. The salad bar lured me in. I didn't want anything heavy. My husband ordered a steak, medium, but it was definitely well done. Because he ordered an entree, he could add the crab cake on for me. The salad bar was basically that, salad. They did have three soups, I tried the chicken noodles, and it was just mid. They had some type of Chili/Nacho combination outside of the salad and many deserts. So I went here a few years back and really didn't enjoy it. My kiddo wanted to go out for dinner though and said hoss's was what she wanted. I'm glad I came back as the food and service as well as atmosphere were very different from my last visit. Food was all spot on and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Well deffinetly make this a regular stop on our weekend daddy daughter dinners! Food is good and consistent with each visit, salad bar is well stocked with a wide variety of toppings. Also has soup and breads. Service has always been great and the staff is awesome. Some of the items on the salad bar were not fresh, especially the spinach. The cheesy potato soup was too thick, but they repkaced it with a clam chowder, which was good. Stopped for Christmas Eve 2023 lunch after going to the noon movie to see WISH. Had received an email: buy a salad bar & get a free burger. Honored special for both of us. Burger was fresh, not frozen beef. Had a good taste. Just would have liked it to be a little hotter when served. Asked for water with lemon. Definitely city water. Bad taste. Do not recommend it. Salad bar is a little smaller than other locations, but all was neat and clean. All employees were in the Christmas spirit.
