Great, locally owned restaurant. We needed a very large, last minute order to take to one of our customers. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us pick out a wide selection of food... which was delicious! All ingredients were fresh and made in-house. Applause all around! I'm always looking for good Mac and cheese and Horizon 76 delivered. The chicken was wonderfully flavored and juicy. My husband even got a gluten free bun that tasted so fresh and delicious. Love the food here. I haven't had anything bad yet. The environment is laid back with a country feel with interesting pieces tonlook at at. My kids love the kids' meal options and decor as well. I would highly recommend eating here. A huge perk is that it's extremely veteran friendly. I happened to come in uniform one day and was treated with so much respect and kindness by the owner and staff. A good casual spot for a high-end burger, or a steak if you're interested. The building looks great, boasting a nice, modern design outside with a fairly large patio area. The inside, however, is somewhat basic, with everything seemingly made of generic brown wood...but at least there seems to be ample seating. While I was not pleased with the speed of service the first visit, that has definitely improved, as our server was constantly checking in (though bar service still took a while). The food is definitely their strong suit, with their meats coming from their own ranch. I went with the Texan burger, and the large beef patty was covered with the perfect amount of chili to be flavorful but not sloppy...every bite was perfect. The duck fries felt a little dried out, hopefully it was just a bad batch. Cost-wise, it wasn't too much damage for some great burgers and beer.
